CSI: Miami's "Bait" was last night's top-rated show, winding up a successful evening for CBS which won the overnight ratings.
According to Mediaweek's Programming Insider, "Bait" earned a 14.6 rating/22 share. This means that last night, approximately 14.6\% of households in overnight markets with television sets were tuned to this week's episode, and 22\% of households watching television at the time had CSI: Miami onscreen.
Last week CBS showed a rerun on Tuesday night as it reshuffled its lineup. This week's overnights nearly double the ratings and share from last week.
Though ABC's Monday Night Football enjoyed increased ratings, finishing with a 12.0/17 in prime time, the Giants vs. Buccaneers matchup was not enough to beat Yes, Dear, Still Standing, Everybody Loves Raymond, Two and a Half Men and CSI: Miami[/i].
A 90-minute edition of Fear Factor earned an 8.6/12 for NBC.
