Fans 'Consider' Petersen And Fishburne

Two new <A class="link" HREF="http://www.facebook.com/">Facebook</a> profiles have been created for <I>CSI</I>'s former leading man <font color=yellow>William Petersen</font> (Gil Grissom) and new leading man <font color=yellow>Laurence Fishburne</font> (Dr Ray Langston).<p><A class="link" HREF="http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1569746383">Consider Billy</a> and <A class="link" HREF="http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1611386488">Consider Fish</a> allow <I>CSI</I> viewers with Facebook accounts to support Petersen and Fishburne as possible nominees in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series category for the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards later this year. Fans who would like to see Petersen considered for an Emmy Award for his "Triumphant Exit" from the series can friend "Consider Billy". "Consider Fish" is for fans that would like to see Fishburne considered for an Emmy for his "Brilliant Entrance".<p><I>CSI</I> viewers on Facebook can also participate on the <A class="link" HREF="http://www.cbs.com/">official website</a> with ease now that CBS has launched "Facebook Connect". This allows fans of CBS programmes like <I>CSI</I> to log into CBS.com using their Facebook information. When these fans participate on CBS.com, they will be able to publish their actions on Facebook, giving them the opportunity to share their experience on the CBS website with their social network.<p>"Television is a social experience, and with 'Facebook Connect,' it's faster and easier than ever for CBS Television fans to share their thoughts and reactions about their favorite shows with their friends and family on Facebook," CBS.com Vice President <font color=yellow>Bill Binenstock</font> said in a press release. "Facebook Connect" also makes it fast and easy for fans to join the community and register for games and contests on CBS.com.<p>Fans can search for "Consider Billy" and "Consider Fish" to find these profiles on Facebook. Is this is for CBS people only? I went and searched for them, and when I clicked on the 'View Friends', it was a bunch of CBS officials only. :lol:

I guess the people from CBS got to it before the fans did. ;) Hopefully a lot of fans will spread the word and friend it too - these guys definitely deserve some Emmy love. :D

Awesome idea--I've just friended them both. Here's hoping one or both of the guys can get a nod!

That's for sure, especially Billy for his intense riveting eulogy in "For Warrick" a real tear-jerker, and his whole persona and incredible acting in this episode, come on Emmy people, get a clue:thumbsup:
