“Mummy, how did you and Daddy meet.” A little girl said while getting tucked into bed.
“It’s a very long story do you really want to know.”
“Yes please.”
“Okay, well you’re Daddy and I met at a wedding.”
“Really was it your wedding.”
“No, it was my best friends wedding actually, I was her maid of honour and your Daddy was the Best Man.”
“Wow, did Daddy look the same as he does now.”
“Yes he still had his short brown hair, and his thick New York Accent.” The little girl started to giggle.
“I remember it was a simple but beautiful wedding and it really reflected the couple getting married.”
“What did you have to wear as the Maid of honours?”
“Well, I wore a floor length dress which was a deep blue colour.”
“What about the bride.”
“Well if I remember correctly she wore a floor length halter-neck silk dress which was an off white cream colour.”
“Aww how pretty. What did Daddy say to you first?”
“He said Do you wanna Dance?”
“What did you say?”
“I said of course.”The little girl started thinking.
“Mummy who’s wedding was it.”
“It was Aunty Lindsay and Uncle Danny’s wedding.”
“Oh I knew that.”
“Really.”
“Yes really, are we going to visit Aunty Lindsay and Uncle Danny tomorrow?”
“Yes at the hospital tomorrow.”
“At the hospital are they both sick.”The little girl got really worried.
“No Honey, remember I told you Aunty Lindsey went into hospital to have the twins.”
“Oh yeah what did she have a boy or girl.”
“They had both a boy and a girl.”
“What did they call them?”
“They called them Dominic and Isabella.”
“Oh now they have three kids.”
“Yes they do Anthony, Dominic and Isabella.”
“Wow I can't wait to see them tomorrow .”
“Well the quicker you go to sleep the quicker you wake up.”
“Okay goodnight Mummy.”
“Goodnight Honey.”
