Rodriguez: I think this is something that has been brewing for a long time. I don't know how far the show is going to take it. Sometimes we get close with something and then it [fizzles]. I don't know how far we're going to go with Calleigh and Delko. We definitely show the building it up through the next episodes. I think it's cool. It's really realistic when it comes to working this job, working a lot of hours and spending the time we do with each other. It's inevitable that romance happens. [Calleigh and Delko] will start to acknowledge [their feelings] and maybe even fall for each other. I'm excited about it. After doing a show for five years, any sort of new avenue is exciting. I hope they take it there, to an extreme place and really gives us a chance to explore it, but who knows where they're going to take it.

Adam: I think we've sort of been in denial, maybe, about our affections for each other. Maybe there'll be a wedding. A CSI wedding.

Emily: Here's the thing. For years I have said 'can Calleigh please have a boyfriend' and they gave her a boyfriend... and he shot himself, which is not good. And then they gave her another boyfriend and he was engaged, which is not good. And I said last year 'may I please have a boyfriend, may I please have a boyfriend' and they gave me a new boyfriend. So it looks like the introduction at the end of season 5 is that next year Calleigh will have two boyfriends.

Procter: I think she has to have romantic feelings for him. He has been consistently there for her, always coming in at the 23rd hour to support her. So I think she definitely has romantic feelings for him.

Adam: It's only natural, at some point you start to become attracted to people and start wondering about the possibility of things being more than what they are at work.

Emily: For so long, we were just staring at each other from across the table, so for me, it’s nice to see this relationship develop. I would hope for Calleigh that she can pull it together enough to recognize what a great man Delko is and commit from her side. I think she’s always a bit skittish because of her dad.
Adam: For it to finally be coming to the surface and be addressed is long overdue. I think it will be really interesting to (see them) go through the highs and the lows together. There has been this chemistry between these two characters for so long, but because the love was never explored, it’s probably stronger than it would be if it was just two people meeting on the first day of work. We have seven years of history.

Wow a shiny new thread already!!!!!!! We just love our EC!!:thumbsup:!! They give us such good things to discuss and fuss over . There's just no way to stop talking about how great these two are together, especially now that they are actually together. Welcome to the world new thread hopefully we get some awesome hiphugger scenes in the near future that we can keep filling our threads with!
We need somebody to think on a question so we can fill this thread up because it's going to be a while before we get a new episode ... well a week but I think it's a long time! and we need some more hiphugger scenes soon to live on or a promo an interview! something please .....

wow. i can't believe that we all blew threw that last thread pretty quickly. it seems like once a month atleast we get a new thread and not even with the important E/C moments in the season.

I'm not sure if this question was asked before (so tell me if it was)

I remember saying that when E/C kissed in Sink or Swim that it doesn't look like their first kiss. I just what to know what you guys think that their first kiss was like?

Again if this was asked already, sorry. The question hust popped into my mind after re-watching the episode.

That's a question that I've been wondering in a while, but I'm not sure... I guess it was after Calleigh leave the hospital, maybe Eric take her home and maybe it was there I really don't know, I'm just imagining, but I guess it wasn't in the lab or in a public place, I guess it was in the house of one of them or maybe in the car

This is a really good question that has me wondering too. But I have to agree with Csifann1 I think it was right after Calleigh got out of the hospital. Maybe he was surprised that was their first kiss in public. *shrugs*

I agree with that. Eric looked a little surprised that she kissed him in "Sink or Swim," but not surprised by the sensation of her lips on his- he'd felt that before. As we all pretty much know, Calleigh isn't a person that likes her relationships out in the open, whether it's in the lab or in the company of strangers. She always struck me as a rather private person. I'd be wiling to bet that until that episode, they had a kind of unspoken "no PDA" rule. But Calleigh made an exception because it was a special occasion- hello, Eric getting out of jail- and it wasn't like they had their tongues down each other's throats. A couple little pecks aren't all that inappropriate in public.

And as far as the "did they or didn't they have sex the night before chip/tuck?" question, I think YES. They're two hot cops who've been eye-sexing each other for years. And it's pretty certain that Eric was, indeed, naked when he woke up in Calleigh's bed. I may be young and not have a ton of experience with guys, but my inclination is that you don't just sleep naked with your girlfriend just for the heck of it. Something had to have warranted the lack of clothing. :devil:

I'm a little depressed we don't get a new episode tonight, or even a re-run since 'The Mentalist' is on instead.. but I'm hoping that we will at least get a promo for 7.22. I guess we'll see.

Lol. Okay, so my questions sort of suck but I'll ask one anyway so we can get a discussion started on this new thread.

If Calleigh hadn't gotten her act together this season and realized her feelings for Eric.. Do you think he would have kept waiting for her or moved on? If so, how much longer do you think he would've waited for her?

I don't really like thinking about if they hadn't gotten together this season even more than I don't like thinking about them possibly breaking up in the future. Because they're together now and seem so happy and it should stay that way.

Anyway, if they hadn't had gotten together this season.. I'm really not sure if would have kept waiting for her. It's been evident that he's loved her since toward the end of season 5 and we learned the depth of those feelings in 'And How Does That Make You Kill?' when it was revealed that he wants to settle down with her. Because his feelings for her are so deep, it's not easy to say whether he would have waited or if he would have just moved on. But I really doubt that he would have just given up and moved on without Calleigh telling him that he has absolutely no chance with her. If he knew she didn't want him, then he would have moved on.

Thank goodness we don't have to wait and see if any of this would happen, though, since Calleigh stopped ignoring what she feels for Eric. I'm so glad they're together now.

Since that episode aired, and knowing what Adam and Emily have said about that scene, I think the scene was acted by them without direction on how each was supposed to act or react. In an interview, I believe it was the TV Guide interview, Emily said she thought Eric & Calleigh's relationship began after All In, when Eric took Calleigh home. Adam was surprised by this... so it would appear that Emily may think, or have thought when the scene was shot, that this was NOT Eric and Calleigh's first kiss. And Adam most likely thought it WAS their first kiss... thus the serious look on Eric's face after Calleigh kissed him. Since all we really can confirm about their relationship is what is shown or said in the episode, all else is up to speculation - by us and by the actors, unless they are told differently by the director directing the scene. So, I think there was no direction given to them on whether or not this was the first kiss for Eric & Calleigh, and thus it was up to their individual interpretations - and in my opinion, Adam thought it was their first kiss, Emily did not.

I also think they've most definitely had sex before that scene in Wolfe in Sheep's Clothing. Two adults who've been sexually active before, who've had that much eye sex in the past 7 years, who've wanted each other for that long, would not wait long to finally make love. I think they did it very soon after Calleigh got out of the hospital and recovered enough for some uh... exercise.

But, one thing I did notice... though it may have seemed Eric slept naked because no boxers or underwear could be seen as he sat up in the bed, Calleigh WAS wearing a negligee under that robe, so she had not slept naked...or else she put on the negligee with the robe when she got up, but why would you do that?

Well... considering most of us here live in the gutter, this is a very dangerous question..:lol: I really think it could've gone so many different ways, but since it was probably after Calleigh got out of the hospital, I can imagine it was a bit tentative, not all :devil::devil: hot and heavy..unfortunately...

Hmm. I think Eric would have gotten tired of waiting for her and given her an ultimatum like Calleigh did with him in 'Head Case'...
However, one day he could have just walked into firearms, spun her around and kissed her senseless and that would probably get her act together.. hee hee hee :evil:

I believe that there's a good chance that Eric took her home after she got out of the hospital so I've decided (until told otherwise) that I'm going to believe that their first kiss took place when they were at her house. I think that after her near death experience and their talk at the hospital things were set up quite nicely for him to help her home and, somewhere along the day, a first kiss to take place.

I think that Eric could have reached a point were he couldn't bear it anymore and decide that he would confront her. If her anwser would've been along the lines of "I don't think this can happen" or something like that I think he would've decided to move on. Now, if she would've given him at least the tiniest of hopes....then that's another story and maybe he would've kept waiting. I'm just glad she finally gave herself the chance to be with him and be happy .

From those kisses she gave him at the end of the ep....they totally had kissed before. I mean c'mon, there is absolutely no way that their first kisses were that chaste!! :lol: I think we all know that after he took her home from the hospital their first actual kiss was waaay hotter!!

Given what Cal said, in the detention center about their discussion about "them" in they had while she was in the hospital, it totally says to me that they were together by the time she was discharged.
