Don Flack. Our favourite fictional detective. But did you know that before Don Flack, Eddie Cahill played a crime fighting journalist named Mike Dolan? How about the hockey player Jim Craig? Did you know he was one of Carrie's boyfriend's in Sex and the City? Or Tag Jones, Rachel's cute assistant in Friends? And if I said "pornstache" could you name the movie? If you can answer yes to any of these questions, then this is the thread for you! :)

We've had four previous Eddie drool and discussion threads, but why stop there? There's always new Eddie fans wanting to talk about his previous roles, as well as older fans more than happy to oblige. And of course, let's be honest, Eddie is a pretty great actor (both pretty and great ;)), so it comes as no surprise that CSI: NY isn't his only gig. He has new movies waiting for release and we want to see them!

So yes, here's a place to talk anything Eddie…and please, enjoy the picspam…

Suggestions for thread names would be welcome. Please post any ideas here. :) As you can see, I wasn't feeling very creative so I didn't even attempt to come up with a cute thread name... :lol:

The pornstache is back! :lol: Ewww! :lol: Anyway, I intend to watch my Felicity Season 3 DVDs this weekend, so hopefully I'll be posting some screencaps by then in addition to those which AppleJack had posted already in the previous thread. I can't wait to see him playing a psycho. :lol:

I see that we still don't have a name for this fifth Eddie thread. How about something like Eddie Cahill Thread #5: New York's Finest. Haha, I know it's pretty lame. I can't think of one right now. :lol:

BTW, just a suggestion for the title... What about 'Eddie Cahill thread #5- Thirty something'? I'm not good at this, my imagination is a bit... out-of-order.

Felicity doesn't really interest me so I just quickly went through the episodes looking for the best shots of just Eddie as 'James'. He maybe psycho but still is very cute! :D

As for a name for this new thread, I can't come up with anything original. I'll have to think about it.

I need to cancel my Netflix due to lack of money at the moment :( so looks like I won't get to see Eddie on Felicity playing a psycho anytime soon. I wish it was on youtube, lol! Can't wait to see more caps!

I'm still trying to think of a thread title but I have a sinus infection so my creativity is null! Wait! Ok, not that great but I was thinking, all these different characters he's played maybe the new thread title could be like Eddie Cahill Drool Thread #5-He's quite a "character"! LOL, I don't know, seems to fit his personality too. Maybe it's the meds talking!

Everybody has gotten me yearning for a little psycho Eddie, so I pulled out my Felicity dvd's (I only have season 3 which I only got for Eddie). One of the best things about the dvd is there is a commentary track for one of Eddie's episodes done by the director & one of the producers and they have nothing but great things to say about him. In one scene they say "he's very menacing here" but he's an "incredibly nice guy" in real life. This is my favorite thing that they say, and forgive me for pulling out specific obervations instead of typing out the entire thing word for word, "He's got so much charsima... He's doing very little acting here (referring to his being menacing) but he's brilliant I think. This is him acting although seemingly not acting which is the brilliance of what he does."

I loved Eddie as Tag on Friends, especially when he gave Rachel a scooter for her birthday. I didn't realize he was in Lords of Dogtown and that's one of my fave movies.

Thank you for typing that all up! It's great to hear what people from another show had to say about Eddie. It really is funny to think of him in that role because it's so opposite everything else he's played, but he was really good in it! It really shows his range.
