I never really had any doubt that he wouldn't return, but it's nice to hear nonetheless.

If he "definitely" does come back, if things don't change and he's still not happy, then the best thing would be for this to be his last season AND for them to write him a proper exit. They owe him, and Nick, at least that much as well as the fans who've been along for the whole ride because of George.
