Deaths in CSI

    Hi,

    I'm fairly new to CSI and have just completed the season 6 boxset.

    One thing I have noticed watching them back to back, is how many women are killed in the series. It's 99 percent women, all young and beautiful.

    Is this reflected in the real world statistics or does CSI live out the producers fantasy?

    Can't say as I've ever really noticed the trend on CSI. But I checked the 2008 US murder statistics and they show about 77% of murder victims were men. I'm sure the ol' damsel in distress factor plays in here as well as just wanting to showcase sexy (dead) bodies. ;)
