Great casting! And what a good deal for him to be able to stay in Hawaii.
This is one remake I am looking forward to. I'm eager to see who else gets cast. Not sure Alex O'Loughlin is the right choice as the new Steve McGarrett, but we'll see. There's also 'bookem Danno' to be cast. :lol:

I don't see how they couldn't use the intro. Seriously, that has got to be my favourite TV theme, ever. (Once at work I had that on repeat on my i-pod for most of an afternoon!)

I wonder if they'll take the original music and tweak it a bit - kind of like how Doctor Who has been using slightly-different versions of the same song since the 60s...
