CSIs Investigate Glitzy Side of Miami In New Episode 'Stalkerazzi'

CSI Files

Captain
Jerry Dorfman is driving frantically, trying to escape a pursuer in a Cadillac. Suddenly he swerves to avoid a pothole, and his car careens off the road into a row of trees. When police Sergeant Dave Barron finds him a few hours later, he's dead. But was it the car crash that killed him? Horatio Caine must find out in the upcoming CSI: Miami episode "Stalkerazzi."

According to CSI Files sources, Alexx Woods notices petechiae in the victims eyes, suggesting that he died by strangulation, not from the car accident itself. Eric Delko gets a bottle of Amido black and pours it on Dorfman's chin, which reveals a partial palm print.

When Horatio learns that Dorfman was a celebrity photographer, his investigation leads him to a rival paparazzi, the shifty Frankie Durst. It was his palm print on the victim's face. Frankie confesses to being at the scene of the crime, but but insists all he did was turn Jerry's face to get a picture of his dead body. Frankie tells Horatio that "death shots" command a hefty price.

When Horatio goes to question hot young actor Tom West, who was none too fond of Jerry, he's stopped by infamous publicist Lizzie Gruber, who refuses to let him talk to Tom. She does reveal that Dorfman was supposed to meet her at a cafe to sell her some compromising photos of Tom, but he never made the meeting. Lizzie says she doesn't know what the photos were of, but when she tells Horatio that she'd do anything for Tom, he makes sure to get some hair samples from her.

Tom finally appears and tells Lizzie to give Horatio whatever he wants and offers to answer any questions Horatio might have. But the case takes another turn when some shocking photos of Tom, probably taken by Dorfman, turn up in a tabloid...
