For those that have forgotten or don't know, CSI will no longer be aired on Spike staring next year!

USA Network has exclusive rights to CSI as of this month.

On Friday, January 14th, 2011 USA will start airing CSI with a 24-hour launch starting at 6 am. Wow 24-hours of non-stop CSI. :)

That could make for a good CSI slumber party! :)

I hope their idea of a "marathon" isn't like Spike's, tho....run 4 episodes and then run the same 4 again and then run the same 4 again.

Man, I hope not, but I don't think they'll do that.

I posted some more information in the "I Have A Question" thread. Thanks to Ted Linhart from USA Network for getting back to me!

That does get annoying sometimes but it's also great if you missed the earlier episodes :)

What's really gotten to me is the when they stuff an extra 20 minutes of commercials and/or cut out scenes  Oh that ticks me off

So USA has CSI LV, A&E has Miami and TNT has NY lol. It seems weird to me that all three are on different networks like that lol.

You're right, didn't read that right. CSi will be on both networks until then.

Usually I think it's whoever offers the most money gets it. Syndication rights are considered a big thing. It also spreads them around more because not everybody gets the same basic cable stations.

I hope USA keeps an hour long show airing in an hour long time period! I'm getting really sick of SPIKE making episodes run an hour and 15 minutes long! :(

Amen, especially when the actual episode is only about 45 minutes long.

Thanks for the info, 24 hrs of CSI sounds good to me! USA also airs NCIS which I watch almost every day.

Spike is really beginning to annoy me with there endless commercial breaks. So it will be good to see it on USA.

    Thanks for the update.
I'm looking forward to CSI on USA. Spike's ads are offensive anyway, then with the weird time airings, it's unbearable for me to try to watch it there. USA is a great channel. Great shows, and more family friendly. And I'll never have to tune in to Spike again. Win/Win :)
