'CSI' Stars Say Burma Can't Wait

Videos spread an important message.<p><I>CSI: Crime Scene Investigation</I> stars <font color=yellow>Jorja Fox</font> (Sara Sidle), <font color=yellow>Eric Szmanda</font> (Greg Sanders) and <font color=yellow>Wallace Langham</font> (David Hodges) are part of the 30-day <A class="link" HREF="http://www.burmaitcantwait.org">Burma: It Can't Wait</a> campaign. Each day for 30 days, a new video is released. Each video features a different celebrity, but their message is the same: Burma needs help.<p>"Burma: It Can't Wait" was funded and co-produced by <A class="link" HREF="http://www.fanista.com">Fanista.com</a>. In addition, 10% of the proceeds from any entertainment purchased from Fanista will go toward the <A class="link" HREF="http://uscampaignforburma.org/">US Campaign for Burma</a>. The site offers <A class="link" HREF="http://uscampaignforburma.org/learn-about-burma">background</a> on the purpose of the campaign for Burma (also known as Myanmar), which aims to free the country from a brutal military regime. <font color=yellow>Daw Aung San Suu Kyi</font>, recipient of the 1991 Nobel Peace Prize, has been in and out of prison since 1988 and is currently under house arrest. "Please use your liberty to promote ours," she said, and the campaign for Burma is doing just that.<p>The videos from Fox, Szmanda and Langham can be watched below. All of the videos released so far can be seen at the US Campaign for Burma's <A class="link" HREF="http://www.youtube.com/user/uscampaignforburma">YouTube</a> channel. Wow. Talk about powerful.

A little graphic in parts, but I guess that's what it'll take to get the message through to people; we can't 'wait for the right moment' any more. It's been and gone.
 
I really didn't know much about what was happening. It's a good thing they made these videos, especially with celebrities. It will get through to people faster and clearer than just reading about it.
