'CSI' Scores SAG Nomination

The cast of CSI: Crime Scene Investigations was nominated for a Screen Actors' Guild award that honors the best ensemble cast of a drama.

The Screen Actors Guild announced its nominations for the 10th Annual Screen Actors' Guild awards today. CSI was nominated in the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series category. The regular cast, consisting of <font color=yellow>Gary Dourdan</font> (Warrick Brown), <font color=yellow>George Eads</font> (Nick Stokes), <font color=yellow>Jorja Fox</font> (Sara Sidle), <font color=yellow>Paul Guilfoyle</font> (Jim Brass), <font color=yellow>Robert David Hall</font> (Dr. Robbins), <font color=yellow>Marg Helgenberger</font> (Catherine Willows), <font color=yellow>William Petersen</font> (Gil Grissom) and <font color=yellow>Eric Szmanda</font> (Greg Sanders) were named in the nomination.

The CSI cast faces competition from the cast of its lead-out show, Without a Trace as well as the cast of Law & Order, Six Feet Under and The West Wing. CSI did not receive any individual acting nods.

NBC led the pack of nominees with 13 total nominations. CBS and HBO tied for second place with 10 nods each. Everybody Loves Raymond scored five individual acting nods and an ensemble nod in the comedy category. <font color=yellow>Anthony LaPaglia</font> of Without a Trace and <font color=yellow>Tyne Daly</font> of Judging Amy rounded out CBS's nominations with acting nods.

The SAG awards will be given out on Sunday, February 22nd, at a ceremony at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center. The awards will air at 8pm Eastern time on TNT.
