'CSI' Scores People's Choice Award Nomination

CSI Files

Captain
CSI was nominated for best drama for the 30th Annual People's Choice Awards, which will air Sunday, January 11th at 9pm eastern on CBS.

The People's Choice Awards first aired in March of 1975. The Gallup Organization is in charge of the polling for the awards show. Viewers can vote online for their favorite dramas, comedies, actors, actresses, and musical performers at CBS.com.

CSI took home the best drama award last year, beating out ER and Law & Order. This year, CSI again faces ER, but Law & Order was passed over for a nod in favor of its first spinoff, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Best new dramas are put in a separate category from returning dramas. The nominees in the best new drama category are fellow CBS shows Cold Case and Joan of Arcadia, along with FOX's The O.C..

None of the shows nominated for best drama received any acting nominations. However, the best performer categories are shared by actors and actresses from both drama and comedy shows.

I reckon that CSI will win hands down!!!! They don't even have any competition. But as long as ER doesn't win I'll be very happy.
GO CSI U ROCK!!!!!!
CSI_luver :)

Did you know that ER won best drama like, seven years in a row. Then CSI came around after that and broke it's winning streak... or whatever you call it. And when that happened
CSI aired for only two years, and they won over the best drama!!!! And other shows couldn't beat it even when the other shows where on for like ever!!!! Ya CSI rocks!!!!!!!
No offence to the other shows. And does anyone know
when Carter will come back? :p
