'CSI' Says 'Goodbye And Hello'

CSI Files

Captain
For the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation team, it's business as usual even as they say goodbye to a long-time friend.

As <font color=yellow>Ausiello</font> recently reported, "Goodbye and Hello" is rumoured to be <font color=yellow>Jorja Fox</font>'s (Sara Sidle) last episode with CSI. According to CSI Files sources, "Goodbye and Hello" begins at night on the campus of W.L.V.U. In the dorms, students are engaging in some very different activities. On the first floor, a party is in full swing involving a couple of freshman fraternity pledges and a beer keg. One of the young men is upside down on a table, guzzling beer and stomping his foot against the ceiling.

In the room above the fraternity pledges, several students are doing biology homework. The pounding from the fraternity pledges below isn't the only sound coming through the walls. One of the students stands on his desk to press a stethoscope to the ceiling. In the room above their own, a young woman wears sexy lingerie in a room dimly lit by candles. She and her lover have just had sex, and as she tries to get him to go for round two, a shape speeds past outside of the window.

The body of a young woman hurtles downward, obeying gravity. After falling past all three dormitory windows, she hits the ground with a sickening crunch. She is face down, her limbs bent at unnatural angles with blood on the ground around her head. The young woman is eighteen and brunette, her face shattered by the fall. The crowd begins to swarm.

When the CSIs arrive, Catherine takes pictures of the young woman as David Phillips examines the body. He cannot find any identification, but they think they might know who she is when a young woman hurries out of the crowd, screaming for her best friend Lanie. Catherine starts to let the girl come closer, but it turns out to be a false alarm. Lanie is in the crowd, and the two young women share a tearful hug. David tells Catherine that this is the third person on campus to jump this year. Catherine does not offer her opinion on this as she takes pictures of some bloody teeth near the body.

Nick and Greg are also on the case. When the young woman is positively identified as Kira Dellinger, they go through her dorm room and find a tube of sexual lubricant with a fingerprint on it. Later, in another part of town, Catherine and Ronnie Lake are on-scene when a woman returns to her home after a domestic incident. She says that she and her husband got into an argument and she went for a walk. Ronnie notices blood dripping onto the floor and walks around the woman to find that she has a knife sticking out of her back.

Please note that the above plot details have not been confirmed by CBS, Alliance Atlantis or Bruckheimer Films, and until such time you should treat this information as you would any other rumour. The above information comes from early script drafts and the details of the episodes are liable to change before the episodes are shown.

"Goodbye and Hello" is expected to air November 8.<center></center>

Nice synopsis. I'm really looking forward to this episode. :)

Obviously, the main interest is bound to be in whether or not it really is Jorja's last episode, but actually the plot line is pretty good too. Apparently this episode sees the return of Marlon and Hannah West (from the season 6 episode 'The Unusual Suspect'). I think Hannah is a great character, totally freaky and far too intelligent for her own good!

You know, I never did get caught up on all of the Vegas episodes, including that one. I need to make sure to watch it (or at least read about it) before this episode airs...

If Hannah and Marol West are returning, then I'll be even more excited for this ep.

It also looks like they are going back to focusing on the cases and the science aspect. Which, in my opnion, has been a long time coming.

This is total speculation, but I think that instead of Catherine, they mean Sara.

After all, the spoiler about Catherine getting annoyed by Veronica was set straight in the TV Guide. It's SARA that works with and gets annoyed by all of the new girl's constant questions. So, I think that they subbed Cath's name into this one to protect anyone from finding out if Sara was going to live.

That's what I suspect as well. I saw Sara's name in the spoilers once, and then a different version of the same spoilers had Catherine instead, like they'd switched one for the other. It also makes sense for the times that it seems like Catherine is working both cases.

So yeah, it makes sense that they've been putting Catherine with the new girl when it's actually Sara. :) I've wondered how they managed to keep any mention of Sara out of the spoilers so far. :p

I think in terms of this case in particular, many people hope that Sara is working it, because in a way Hannah was her adversary in 'The Unusual Suspect' and it makes more sense for her to be the one investigating. TPTB did do well at concealing the fact that Sara lived, and I guess we'll see very soon which Catherine spoilers were actually Sara! :)

It´s still speculation about her leaving right? But no doubt it´ll be a great episode. Hope they don´t wait to long with airing it here in Sweden. we´re still in the final four of s 7. :(
