The last full week in September will see the premiere of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and its two spinoffs, CSI: Miami and CSI: New York.
The Futon Critic is reporting that CBS's fall season kicks off on Monday, September 20th. CSI: Miami's third season will premiere that night with the episode "Lost Son". Early reports indicate that the episode revolves around the kidnapping of the son of a wealthy couple.
CSI: New York's first season will premiere on Wednesday, September 22nd. The first episode of New York, entitled "Blink", sees Mac Taylor (<font color=yellow>Gary Sinise</font>) and his team of CSIs hot on the trail of a murderer who has killed several women (story).
The fifth season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will kick off on Thursday, September 23rd. Originally it was scheduled to open with the episode "Viva Las Vegas", but the episode was pulled for revisions after the firing of cast members <font color=yellow>Jorja Fox</font> (Sara Sidle) and <font color=yellow>George Eads</font> (Nick Stokes). The episode will be revised and possibly will air later in the season; as of yet, there is no news about what will replace it.
