The aftermath of a Yankees-Red Sox brawl did not prevent CSI: Miami from becoming CBS's only show to finish first in its time slot last night.

According to Mediaweek's Programming Insider, "Death Grip" earned a 13.7 rating/20 share. This means that on Monday night, approximately 13.7\% of households in overnight markets with television sets were tuned to CSI: Miami and 20\% of households watching television at the time had the episode "Death Grip" onscreen.

The American League Championship Series game allowed FOX to win the night's ratings, earning a 14.1/20 from 8:15 to 11:15 p.m. Monday Night Football suffered the most from this triumph, bringing in a season-low 8.7/12.

CBS came in second during each time slot of the night except for the last half hour of CSI: Miami, which had higher ratings than baseball. This may change when complete ratings are compiled later in the week.
