CSI: Miami - Against the Clock (Cross-Overs with LV and NY)

Trevor

CSI Level Two
I present to you my idea for a CSI: Miami movie which will cross over with CSI: NY and CSI: LV (in that order). Basically Delko gets kidnapped by this psychopath and the rest of the Miami CSIs are left to find him. This is written in script format and occurs in between the second season episodes MIA/NYC Nonstop and Innocent. Enjoy.

Disclaimer: I only own the idea.

Rated: PG-13 for language and violence.

The End

EXT. LAS VEGAS - U-KEEP IT STORAGE - NIGHT

CAINE, DUQUESNE, WILLOWS, BRASS, and LVPD UNIFORMED OFFICER
#1 are quietly making their way to storage unit #155 with
their guns out. Behind them are an LVPD Crown Victoria
Police Cruiser and the GMC CSI Mobile Analysis Unit. Both
vehicles have their red and blue lights flashing and the
Mobile Analysis Unit’s halogen roof lights were turned on.

BRASS
(notices a person
moving in the shadow)
Las Vegas Police! Show yourself!

The person stops briefly before TIMMONS emerges from the
shadows with his gun out. He starts firing at the group as
he charges towards them. CAINE fires two shots at TIMMONS
who falls to the ground as they hit him in the chest.
WILLOWS holsters her gun before running to TIMMONS’ side and
checking his pulse.

WILLOWS
He’s still alive! Get a paramedic!

BRASS
(nods and pulls out
his radio)
This is 19-Victor-Brass, I need a
paramedic at the U-Keep It off of
Flamingo. Suspect down with
multiple GSWs to the chest.

CAINE and DUQUESNE make their way to the padlocked door to
the storage unit. BRASS and LVPD UNIFORMED OFFICER #1 make
their way over as WILLOWS stays behind with TIMMONS and
waits for the ambulance to arrive.

CAINE
Delko!?
(hears DELKO reply
with a muffled scream)
Delko! We’re coming! Hang in
there!
(focuses on DUQUESNE
who is looking at the lock)
Catherine? Does he have a key?

WILLOWS
(pulls on a glove and
goes through TIMMONS’ pockets)
No!

CAINE
Calleigh, I want you to shoot the
lock.

DUQUESNE
Are you sure? That doesn’t sound
like a good idea, what if the
bullet goes through and ricochets
around the room? What if-

CAINE
(interrupts DUQUESNE)
Calleigh...I need you to trust me.

DUQUESNE
(closes her eyes and
swallows as she nods)
Alright.

DUQUESNE shoots the lock off of the storage unit door as
LVPD UNIFORMED OFFICER #1 opens the door and allows CAINE,
DUQUESNE, and BRASS inside.

CUT TO:

INT. LAS VEGAS - U-KEEP IT STORAGE UNIT #155

DELKO is in the corner of the storage unit with his wrists
and ankles bound together by duct tape. His mouth is taped
shut with duct tape as well which is one of the reason that
his shouts were muffled.

DUQUESNE
(runs over to DELKO
and begins to untape
his mouth carefully so
as to avoid hurting
him. Her eyes are
watering out of happiness)
It's okay Delko, you're safe.
We're here.

DELKO
(shaky voice)
Calleigh, Horatio.

CAINE
We're here, Delko. We're here.

TO BE CONTINUED

Please, by all means give me your input. Especially about whether or not I got the personalities right. Keep in mind this is only the intro.

I love it, a crossover. I think you captured Calleigh and Horatio very well, great job. Hope to read more. :)

Alright, time for part 2. Now it says something about Paramount Pictures and CBS studios, if this becomes a movie I don't know who would make it, but because I am picky and want to make sure I don't make the movie too long I include scenes like that.

INT. MIAMI – MIAMI-DADE CRIME LAB – HALLS- MORNING

DELKO, SPEEDLE, and DUQUESNE are waiting in the halls for CAINE to arrive from telling Laura Spellman that he had caught the man who killed her parents.

DUQUESNE
So, what did you guys think about the last case?

SPEEDLE
From what I heard from H while he was waiting for his flight in the case took a few interesting turns.

DELKO
You can say that again.

CAINE walks in through the front doors of the crime lab, taking off his sunglasses once the doors shut.

DUQUESNE
(smiles cheerfully at CAINE)
Welcome back.

CAINE
Thank you, Calleigh. Alright, now that I’m back I can start giving you cases. Calleigh you’ve got a dead body out in the glades.

DUQUESNE
Oooh, Fun.

CAINE
Delko, you’ve got a homicide at the Gables. Speed, you’re coming with me to a possible body dump at the dump.

DUQUENSE
(jokingly)
Pardon the pun.
(smiles again)

FADE TO:

EXT. MIAMI – OUTSIDE OF DELKO’S CRIME SCENE – MORNING

DELKO pulls up to a house in Coral Gables where an MDPD cruiser and SALAS’ unmarked MDPD Crown Victoria are sitting outside. He parks the Hummer behind SALAS’ vehicle and gets out of the vehicle before walking towards SALAS who is waiting for him outside of the crime scene tape which is wrapped around the yard.

DELKO
So what do we got?

SALAS
(leading DELKO towards the house)
Victim is one Jose Santos, 39. This is his house, the maid found him and called it in. I already talked to her and had her give me her address and phone number in case we needed to speak to her.

DELKO
(stops walking and faces SALAS)
Jose Santos, wasn’t he one of the key witnesses on the Daniel Timmons trial?

SALAS
I did think about that when I saw the body and the murder is similar. You thinking revenge?

DELKO
I don’t know, Horatio always tells us to follow the evidence so I’ll let what we collect do the talking.

SALAS
(continues toward the house)
Alright, well the body’s in the kitchen.

DELKO follows SALAS as she leads him through the front entrance and into the house.

CUT TO:

INT. MIAMI – DELKO’S CRIME SCENE – MOMENTS LATER

SALAS steps to the side as she walks through the doorway to the kitchen as DELKO walks in. SANTOS is on the ground with three stab wounds to the chest.

SALAS
(goes to say something when her cell phone rings)
Uh, one second.
(she looks at the caller ID)
Damn, I have to take this one. It’s Ray Jr.’s school.

DELKO
(doesn’t look away from the body)
Go ahead.

SALAS walks out of the room as she answers her cell phone while DELKO puts his kit down and begins to take photos of the crime scene.

MINUTES LATER…

DELKO is finishing up photographing the scene when SALAS walks back into the kitchen holding her cell phone in her right hand.

SALAS
(puts the phone in her pocket)
I have to go and speak to Ray Jr.’s teacher. Apparently it can’t wait. The scene guard’s outside and Alexx is on her way, she should be here…
(she checks her wrist watch)
Within the hour. She had another scene to go to first.

DELKO
Yeah, H said something about a possible body dump at the landfill so that would take priority because they still need to find the primary scene. Anyways, go do what you need to.

SALAS
Thanks.
(she turns and leaves)

TO BE CONTINUED

Now that will be in the next update, but if you want to know now it's the stomach bug. The next update might take a bit longer because it's finals week at my school so I'm going to probably be unable to post until next week.

A Problem

INT. MIAMI – MIAMI-DADE CRIME LAB – BALLISTICS LAB - SOMETIME LATER

CAINE is standing behind DUQUESNE as she focuses the comparative microscope in order to show him striations for a pair of bullets when his phone rings.

CAINE
(looks at the caller ID)
Um. Excuse me for a minute, would you?

DUQUESNE
(looks away from the microscope and at CAINE and nods)
Sure.
(she continues focusing the microscope)

CAINE
(answers the phone)
Caine.

SPLIT SCREEN – CAINE and SALAS

CAINE’s screen shrinks down until it’s a box on the right with SALAS’s screen as a box on the left (a la phone calls in 5.01 – Rio). A skyline of Miami is in the background.

SALAS
(nervous)
Horatio, it’s Yelina. We’ve got a problem.

CAINE
What do you mean?

SALAS
I had to leave Delko at his crime scene to talk to Ray Jr.

CAINE
Is he okay?

SALAS
He’s fine, he came down with the stomach bug so I left him at my mothers. That’s beside the point, though. Anyways, I was on my way back to the crime scene from my mothers when Officer Simms called me. She said that there was a problem at the scene.

CAINE
Go on.

SALAS
(nervous)
Well I’m at the scene and I see Simms, but no Delko.

CAINE
What do you mean?

SALAS
(nervous)
Horatio…Delko’s missing.

INT. MIAMI – MIAMI-DADE CRIME LAB – BALLISTICS LAB

CAINE just stares ahead after what SALAS said registers.

CAINE
Alright, get the scene taped off I’ll get everybody out there as soon as possible.
(he hangs up)

DUQUESNE
(looks away from the microscope and at CAINE)
Horatio?

CAINE
Grab your kit…
(he walks towards the open doors)
Delko’s missing.
