CSI mention in Popular Science

I came across an article while magazine shelving at the library today...I forget wthat the cover blurb is but there's an article that talks about TV science shows. Numb3rs seems to be the main focus but CSI is mentioned a lot. I think it's this month's issue btw. Or Jan 2007,one of the two.

I'm not sure what they're specifically talking about, but I went to the Popular Science website and searched for 'CSI' and got some interesting results. (These links may contain information about real forensic crimes including descriptions of deceased people.) They each have a mention of CSI in them, at the very least.
