'CSI' Issues An Amber Alert

CSI Files

Captain
The Las Vegas team races against time to find a young girl who was apparently snatched from a convenience store parking lot in the upcoming CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "Harvest."

According to CSI Files sources, Sylvia Perez is shocked when she arrives at St. Ignatius Catholic School to pick up her daughter Alicia and is informed by one of the nuns that her daughter never showed up for school that day. A frantic call from her other daughter Carmen confirms her worst fears: Alicia is missing.

Eighteen-year-old Carmen is outside a convenience store where she claims Alicia was snatched. Alicia had been ditching school to hang out with her older sister. Carmen was inside the store when she looked out and saw a man pull Alicia into his car and drive off. Carmen gives Brass a description of the driver of the car.

Grissom is questioning Sylvia and her husband Carlos when he notices blood on her shirt. She claims it was from a nosebleed, but Grissom tells her he has to examine the shirt. Angrily, she takes it off and hands it to him.

Back at the convenience store, Brass questions the clerk, but the man claims he didn't see a thing. He was too busy checking out Carmen while she wandered around the store. Though there are video cameras in the store, the ones in the parking lot are dummies.

Catherine is investigating the parking lot with Grissom and Warrick when she gets a call about her own daughter. It seems Lindsay was picked up by the police for hitchhiking. She leaves the scene to go claim her wayward daughter.

Back at the lab, the new tech, Mia Francisco, has arrived. She consults with Warrick and Greg, but is chilly to both. She tells Warrick she's heard he and Greg have a bet about how long she'll last at the lab. Warrick is miffed that Greg told her, but Greg thinks he might have a chance with the pretty new tech.

Catherine arrives at the station to pick up Lindsay, and the pair have a confrontation that ends with Lindsay telling Catherine she'd rather be with her father, and that she's going to go home with her grandmother instead of Catherine...

Please note that these plot details have not yet been confirmed by CBS, Alliance Atlantis or Bruckheimer Films and until such time you should treat this information as you would any other rumour. The information comes from an early draft of the script and aspects of the episode may change before it goes to air.

"Harvest" will likely air in October, 2004.

I don't get the thing about Lindsey... she knows that her father is dead... Lindsey is how old...?

I guess she of course realizes that her father is dead, but she liked to be with him more than with Catherine.

but why go to her grandmother's? Does she not like Catherine...? So how old is she?

Lindsay was 9 in the beginning/mid Season 3 (Just checked a transcript for Blood Lust), so she is/will be 11 in Season 5.
