Captain
The two CSI shows easily won the first Thursday night of summer reruns, helping CBS to victory in the overnight ratings.
According to Zap2It, a rerun of CSI: Miami's "Bunk" earned an 8.2 rating/15 share at 8 p.m. this week, very nearly tying with NBC's Friends rerun for the hour. At 9 p.m., the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "High and Low" brought in an 11.5/19 rating, the highest of any show of the evening.
Those numbers mean that approximately 11.5\% of American households with television sets were tuned to CSI at 9, and 19\% of households watching television at the time had "High and Low" onscreen.
CBS averaged a 9.9 rating/17 share for primetime on Thursday, leading NBC's 7.7/13. ABC's coverage of the NBA draft and a basketball playoff game lagged behind these networks and even WWE Smackdown! in the 9 p.m. hour.
The full overnight ratings are available at Zap2It. The numbers will change slightly when the total ratings are calculated.
