'CSI' Goes Live

CSI Files

Captain
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation finds a new home.

Six Flags Magic Mountain will be offering something new for fans of the crime drama. The park, located in Valencia, California, will have a new stage show called "CSI: Live" starting this summer. Part CSI, part reality show, the performance relies on the audience to put it all together.

The interactive experience starts with a 30-minute play to present the crime that has been committed. The members of the audience have a different perspective of the events on stage depending on where they are sitting. After the play is over, the audience gets to take their turn as forensic scientists and determine whodunit.

"CSI: Live" is supplemented by some extra features that make the experience a bit more authentic. William Petersen (Gil Grissom) and other CSI cast members will provide voice-overs and video clips to help the audience along. "CSI: Live" begins June 14 and will be performed several times each day.

LOL. Sounds like CSI will do anything for publicity.

While the concept sounds cool, there are so many things like this out there. Plus, I'm too afraid of Six Flags, so I doubt I'll go there. :p

CSI Live is reminding me too much of the musical Clue.

The show could be interesting to see, but it does seem like it's a bit forced.
