'CSI' Alumni In New TV Gigs

CSI Files

Captain
Two well-known faces around the CSI labs will be changing locations for a while as they break out into two very different Fox network shows.

Former comedian Aisha Tyler will be trading in character Mia Dickerson's lab coat for new character Marianne Taylor's keyboard, as she crosses the world of fiction from CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's Las Vegas to Los Angeles to star in Fox's 24.

According to the New York Post, Tyler will play a system analyst on the hit TV show, which caught the critics' eyes in 2002 with its fresh, real-time format. Tyler will be rubbing shoulders with the likes of lead actor Kiefer Sutherland. Fellow CSI alumnus Reiko Aylesworth (Chandra Moore) has also been a regular on the show for some time.

Comparatively, Emmy-winning actress Kim Delaney (Megan Donner) will be making a leap from the sunny beaches in CSI: Miami to the opposite coast as she takes up residence in Fox's California-based drama The O.C.. Delaney's previous credits include NYPD Blue, Philly and NBC's 10.5.For full details including an interview with Aisha Tyler, head over to the and Yahoo! I'm pretty sure Tyler will continue to do the recurring role. She's probably already filmed everything for the season.
