Christopher Redman and Wes Ramsey are reprising established recurring roles in the lab. David Lee Smith was last seen in <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season6/down_to_the_wire.shtml">"Down to the Wire"</a>. Paul Keeley appeared in the <I>CSI: New York</I> episode <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season4/admissions.shtml">"Admissions"</a>. He co-wrote this episode with <font color=yellow>Daniele Nathanson</font>, who also has seven writing credits for <I>CSI: NY</I>. Thad Luckinbill was in the <I>CSI</I> episode <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season6/bang_bang.shtml">"Bang-Bang"</a>.<p>Things are out of this world for <I>CSI: Crime Scene Investigation</I> on Thursday at 9:00pm ET/PT in <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season9/a_space_oddity.shtml">"A Space Oddity"</a>:<p><dl><dt><dd><font color=yellow>When Hodges and Wendy run into each other at a science fiction convention for one of their favorite classic television shows, they end up investigating the murder of one of their beloved actors.</font><p></dt></dl><p><I>Battlestar Galactica</I>'s <font color=yellow>Michael Nankin</font> directed the episode, which is a nod to the sci-fi series. The story was written by executive producer <font color=yellow>Naren Shankar</font>, who has 39 writing credits for the show, including the 200th episode <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season9/mascara.shtml">"Mascara"</a>. Former <I>Battlestar</I> writers <font color=yellow>David Weddle</font> and <font color=yellow>Bradley Thompson</font> penned the teleplay for "A Space Oddity", which is their third writing credit since becoming supervising producers on the show.
