CBS posted a new “Under the Microscope” video featuring CSI: New York’s Costume Designer Libby Palmer, which offers fans a look behind the scenes at the outfit worn by musician Ne-Yo during his upcoming guest appearance in this week’s episode, “Smooth Criminal”. It's interesting that they used the same fabric/fiber content to get the right kind of ash - I would have thought they'd only concentrate on something that looks close enough to the original that it's not obvious they're burning something else. Who knew ash was such a big deal? The lapel pin is a nice touch, though.
