CSI Files
Captain
After making a splash as audio-visual wizard Tyler Jenson last season on CSI: Miami, actor Brian Poth will return as recurring character for the show's sophomore year.
"It's a dream come true," Poth told reporter Luis Hernandez of his hometown newspaper, the Tulare Advance Register. "Unless something horrible happens to the character, I will be back for the whole season."
While CSI: Miami usually has its fare share of grisly deaths, they usually don't happen to the crime lab technicians, so Poth should be safe for a while. The actor first appeared in "Double Cap" towards the end of last season, and has been involved in the season premiere, "Blood Brothers", and the following four episodes of season two so far.
Poth, whose credits include Six Feet Under, Judging Amy and The X-Files, said he's having a blast working on CSI: Miami. "The people I work with are amazing. Very down to earth."
