Here's a list of some of the best beaches- are you near any of thes? or have you been to any of them? I was at the La Jolla one in San Diego many times-when I lived there-- beautiful- but--too many people :(

BEST BEACHES

I've been to Nantucket a couple times. I was about 6 years old when I went, that was around 10 years ago. I went twice, both times at Thanksgiving, so I have no idea what it's like in summer.

ive been to the Haleiwa, south beach, and St.Augustine. i was hopeing there would be cancun mexico beach. its my favourite. :D

Boracay..dakak...puerto azul...puerto gallera...hundred islands...and others...I forgot the names...they're just here in Philippines

Ah, I've never been to any of those, but number 10 reminds me of the Silver Sands of Morar in Scotland, where I visited on holiday a couple of months ago :)

I've been to Venice Beach and La Jolla, but apparently this list is very American-focused. hmph. ;) Us in Canada aren't exactly known for our amazing beaches (although we do have some!), but I lived in Sydney, Australia for years and I have to say that the best beach I've been to is Manley, just outside of Sydney. Even if I did get stung by a bluebottle jellyfish there- likely the worst pain I've ever known.

all American beaches!

There are some beautiful beaches in Spain as well! I love the black sanded beach in Tenerife :D
My home country's beaches suck :p

Of course these are in the U.S. I live here- but I'd love to see beaches in other parts of the world- and ziggy I know Australia has awesome beaches- so you fans find your best beaches in your country and post them ;)

I thought this was posted a few months ago.

Ah well, as I said, we have here the most amazing beach, longest beach in Northern Europe. It's 13km long, but too bad, 11km of it is property of Finnish Defense Forces and it sucks. It's also a part of Natura 2000 (EU's enviroment protection campagne, which doesnt' make sense because of all the vechiles and metal that put to that soil)

bit north from here is
http://www.hiekkasarkat.com

and in south there's http://www.yyteri.fi

I know those are not as great as in other countries, like in South Europe or Thailand or Aussieland... but hey, think how north we are :p

Oh wibbsy, both sides have tiiiiny GB flag and by clicking it, you get the English version ;)
