Which character do you think would make the best alter ego for a superhero?

Personally, I think Adam. He's unassuming and nobody would really notice if he slipped away for a few minutes to save the world.

I think it would be Mac. But then again, he has been "Super Mac" in a few past seasons...so... Adam could be a good one. I don't think anyone would assume that he did anything else...

Gotta agree with you! The others are too obvious, but Adam has the geekiness that usually comes with most superheroes!

I think it could also be Flack.

He always strives to do the right thing (sometimes to a fault)

He's not sufficating from his ego (selfless)

And when he does the right thing he's not gloating, he simply says -"It's my job".

He 's like Superman - only without the costume. The “nice guy” — he’s

loyal, believes that people are inherently good, and is always ready to

save the day. And If anything - he's got what it takes to be a true hero.

I would say Adam, or Sid. Adam because he has the geekiness and shyness, and because he would just make a great superhero, and Sid because you just wouldn't expect it. Those cool specs of his could double as supercool x-ray/future vision specs!
I agree that the main characters are too obvious, and get to do heroic stuff anyway (Mac is Super Marine, Stella is Rambo, and Danny, though usually the damsel in distress, did save that little girl in Boo, and stop the runaway subway train in The Thing About Heroes, and Flack is Super Cop)

I forgot about Sid! He's even got the glasses for a disguise! lol

Love the idea of Flack being Superman too!

Adam is more like Spider-Man - the underdog of all superheroes.

As Peter Parker, he’s sensitive, completely responsible, and a bit nerdy.

And his Spidey alter ego is pretty much the same — except for the fact

that he also swoops from building to building to rescue damsels in distress.

The only downside: Just like Spider-Man, he may get so caught up

in being responsible that he has a hard time being carefree.

Stella could be Wonder Woman. Give her the cape, lasso, and bracelets. And, of course, in that outfit, she can continue to show off her... other attributes.

And Hawkes could be his trusty side kick. And Sid could be their evil nemesis. I love Sid, but he just has an "evil nemesis" look about him, IMO.

Hmmmm...I'm thinking Adam, Sid or Hawkes, anyone else might be too obvious, IMO. Adam's geekiness is an excellent cover, as is Hawkes' tendency toward brains-over-brawn. Plus, both of them are such incredibly nice guys, not at all Super-Heroish.
And Sid, well... who would ever suspect Sid of being a Super Hero? Honestly? :guffaw:

Hawkes would probably have all sorts of Super Gizmos.

Sid might be a nemesis, but maybe he's not evil - just bored. :p

However, the mental image of secret good vs evil confrontations in back hallways and cupboards at the lab is hilarious - especially if Mac just can't quite figure out what is going on. Sid tries to blow up Mac's office, but Adam and Hawkes thwart his attempt just-in-time.

    "Drat! Foiled again! *shakes fist*"

The others would be blissfully unaware that a disaster was averted mere moments before they happened to walk into the room. Meanwhile, Adam, Hawkes and Sid would not let on that they are locked in an unending power-struggle.

This conflict is epic - epically sekrit.
