CSI Files
Captain
Have you always wondered what it's like to write for CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, or are you just curious what the show's future holds? CSI Files is now giving you the opportunity to ask questions like this directly to CSI co-executive producer Josh Berman!
Berman has been a CSI writer since the first season, during which he worked on episodes such as "Who Are You," "Boom" and "Face Lift," the first episode for which he received solo writing credit. Since then, Berman has steadily risen through the CSI ranks to his current position, that of co-executive producer for the show. This season, he's worked on the episodes "Crow's Feet," "Mea Culpa," "Unbearable" and most recently "Compulsion."
Besides writing for CSI, Berman this year has been developing Deviant Behavior, a drama series about a team that tracks serial killers. The show has a pilot commitment from Fox, so may end up on the network's schedule next year. Berman recently signed a deal with 20 Century Fox to develop programs for the studio, but has promised he'll stick with CSI through the 2006-2007 TV season (story).
Josh Berman has graciously agreed to answer questions from CSI fans. If you'd like to suggest a question for him, please head over to this thread in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation forum of Talk CSI. Early next week, we will make a selection of the best questions and forward them on to Mr. Berman. So head over to our bulletin boards and post your questions - you will need to have a Talk CSI user account, but if you haven't yet registered, now would be the perfect time to do so!
The answers will be posted as soon as possible on CSI Files, obviously depending on Mr. Berman's schedule and availability.
