This is regarding banners for both Photo Competitions and Icon Challenges.

I've noticed that not everyone who wins a place in either the photo competitions or the icon challenges "wears" their banner. Now this is fine, as I understand that people are attached to or prefer the banner they already have, or have some other reason for not putting it up.

So as I'm a little pressed for time at the moment, writing my thesis and other real life stuff going on, and also some people (though not many) can not even be bothered to PM me back and say thank you for the banner I've made for them, I've decided to put this up asking people who win places in the competitions and challenges to PM me if they would like a banner to "wear" in their signature.

I don't mind if people do want a banner, so please don't hesitate to PM me if you'd like one. I won't scream and start throwing rocks at you or anything ;) I may be a bit slow in getting it you, but I promise it will be with you as soon as I can get it done.

If winners don't PM me, I'm going to assume you don't want a banner, which is fine - I won't be offended or anything.

I will be making banners for the winners of the Jack Shephard icon challenge, but for all future competitions and challenges (including the winners of the 'Scenes of Summer' photo comp) winners will need to PM me if they'd like a banner.

Hey wibble i won the third place in the Lost competition and i wanna let you know that i don´t need a banner. I´m really lucky with my recent one and i don´t wanna change it :)

I'm also very thankfully for the banner.
but then the H/Y love hit me and I was too shy to ask for an animated banner. :D
your banners are beautiful.
I stare at the others banners every time I saw them.

Hormiga, I like your idea to show the banner in the profile. Is it a problem for you, if I do the same?

I'll put the .gif banner back on as soon as I win another competition *cough* People, vote for me!!! :lol: But not too much, because I want second place :p

I'm always very proud at the banners I've won, showed them around to friends and family and such, but alas, they do not understand CSI and therefore not the banner (although it has nothing to do with CSI at all) *sigh* ignorant people.

Chez, thanks for letting me know about the banner :)

Aw, it's ok...I know most of you are grateful ;) though that's not really the issue. I thought it makes sense to say this, especially now and other times in the future when I'm busier with real life stuff. I guess it's just occurred to me that I can save time by not making banners for people who won't use them :p But like I said, I'm not offended or anything if people don't want one - I understand ;)

Of course,do it.I'm very surprised you even asked it,you're very kind. :)
And about an animated banner,I'm sure anyone of the talented people on fan art will be glad to make you one. ;)

I already added mine to my banner... I'm a bit lazy and I should have done it earlier! Wibble is doing a great job with the whole competition stuff!

As I'm sure you know Wibble, I'm grateful for all the banners you've made for me and I completely understand how Real Life has an annoying habit of keeping us all busy sometimes.

Also, I've sent round the banners I said I would do for those people who were winners in the Jack Shephard icon challenge the other week. So from now on, for all future photo competitions and icon challenges (yes, this means wheoever are winners in the Tomb Raider challenge), winners must PM me if they'd like a banner. Though I will add this to the bottom of the rules of the competitions and challenges, just to remind people :)
