Mac is certain the killer is on board and searches for the murder weapon.</dt></dl>Matt Earl Beesley has never directed for CSI: NY before, but he has taken a turn in the director's chair for New York's lead-in Criminal Minds, as well as the other two members of the CSI franchise. This is the second time Jeremy Littman has written for New York. Show star Gary Sinise has a co-writing credit for "Turbulence", which is his second time writing for the series. The teleplay for the episode was co-written by Lewis and Allen MacDonald. This is the tenth time MacDonald has written for the show, and his previous credits include last season's <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season8/drops_out.shtml">"Drops' Out"</a>. Lewis has written one previous teleplay for CSI: the season five episode <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season5/committed.shtml">"Committed"</a>. Executive producer Carol Mendelsohn wrote the story the teleplay was based on.
