Hello kids, I'm like, obsessive person, and I have questions, hooray, questions!

1) What time do the shifts start and finish? It drives me crazy!

2)How many CSIs are there in Las Vegas, like, 10? Surely not...

3)How big is the crime lab?

I'm pretty sure shifts are 8 hours each. I don't know the specific times thought maybe:

Day: 8am-4pm
Swing: 4pm-12am
Night: 12am-8am.

Don't quote me one that though :D.
There's more than 10 CSI's in Vegas, we never see the Day shift and I'm sure there was more on swing that just Nick/Cath/Warrick. Since they are back on Nights there must be new swingers(tee hee) too.

We only see 6 on the show, but there are probably two other shifts each with several CSIs. There might even be more on the night shift we haven't seen. Each investigator needs one or two nights off a week and an occassional vacation or sick leave. And even though we see one or two cases per episode, there must be other crimes going on in the big city those nights. Remember the episode 4x4? Haven't been able to find the true info on the web. Someone would have to call the real department to find out.
