I admittedly didn't even watch the second season because I knew it wasn't going to last. I'll probably watch all of them sometime in the summer. Cyber was a far cry from the first few seasons of CSI. I hope the next iteration is something more serialized and a little darker in tone.

This show is effectively cancelled. The actors have already signed on for other projects. I would expect them to come up with an interesting premise or city and try to reinvigorate the franchise in a few years.

I think Season 2 could be an improvement over Season if they have retooled it right. There were several good episodes in S1 even though I would not have been sad if it didn't last past the first season. This will definitely be make or break for the CSI franchise though.

I thought Anna Gunn was miscast as well. I've always thought she was boring, though.

The cast and crew was notified this morning that the show has been canceled but the network has agreed to a 2-hour TV movie to wrap things up. CSI Cyber has been renewed.

It was alright. I think they tried way too hard to make all the characters extremely quirky other than Arquette.

It's too late for any of that. CSI is over for the year. It'll probably get a final 13 episodes next year. Especially since it hit season highs on that Tuesday night. I could see them shoeing it in for Fridays.

Wasn't really impressed with Part I of the pilot. Lucas Black is doing an offensive version of a southern accent.

This has nothing to do with Miami or NY. Something must have been going on behind the scenes with Miami for them to cancel it, and CBS hung in there with NY as long as was financially possible. They cut back episode orders and moved it to Fridays and it still wasn't performing like they needed...
