Yeah I feel like the writers in the later seasons dropped the ball on a lot of personal story lines whereas in the glory days they found a good balance of focusing on the plot but still giving us enough details about the characters.

Yes! Bloodlines and Butterflied are up there in the list of most excellent eps, even from a non-shipping standpoint. Plus it's always fun to see the first few seasons to see our lil babies and Sara is so rambunctious in season one and two. I love it!

In the last five weeks I rewatched on Hulu every ep from season one to when Grissom left and then a few random eps from seasons 11-15. It's just too sad to see the long-distance GSR and then not at all in final full season.

Although it's over (for now) at least we got a finale movie with most of the original cast! Sadly, many shows don't go out that way and often fans are left hanging. Grateful for online streaming so we can relive our favorite eps. Imagine if this were the dark ages before Hulu/Netflix!
