    Grade 'Brooklyn 'Til I Die'

I give it an A. Enjoyed the setup and the son's involvement to basically save himself. Seriously, Mac is always so damn panic stricken when Jo is visibly fine after stuff -- I never get that. Christine herself is fine -- the actress is okay (even if I can't get "Ever After" out of my head) and...

    Mac/Jo: Making good first impressions

"I think the word 'sexy' makes you nervous." OMG. I'll take any flirtation with an annoying woman that leads to Jo flirting with Mac and getting him all flustered. HEE!

Perfect, it was a perfect last shot. HOLY CRAP!

Season 8 Spoiler Discussion #2 - Spoiler Scene: Do Not Cross

I'm just not that invested in how it plays out so long as dude pays for what he does. So whatever, so long as it's good and he's bleeding, I'll be happy.

Season 8 Spoiler Discussion #2 - Spoiler Scene: Do Not Cross

I'm not sure I'd buy that given the beating it looks like she's about to take. But hopefully she didn't leave herself exposed and someone knows where she is. Either way, looks intense and I'm glad we don't have to wait longer than next week to see it.

Season 8 Spoiler Discussion #2 - Spoiler Scene: Do Not Cross

Um, HOLY CRAP! Sela was not kidding about it being a "Fugitive" flashback. I would really like Mac or Don to put a bullet through that guy after seeing that.

    Grade 'Crushed'

I read the whole thing differently. Yes, Lindsay totally misspoke and should've been more careful with her words, but she didn't mean anything by it, and then it was too late, she'd hit a nerve and Jo reacted. But I think the reason Lindsay stopped trying to explain and just let Jo go off and...

    Mac/Jo: Making good first impressions

Yeah, this episode was kind of love. They work so well together as partners and there's something just so lovely in how close they seem after such a short time, really, compared to how long Mac has known everyone else at the lab. Like the natural ease between the actors just translates to this...

Season 8 Spoiler Discussion - There's Nothing You Can't Do In New York

Re: Season 8 Spoiler Discussion - There's Nothing You Can't Do In New Can a girl hope for Mac to show up first to the scene?

    Mac/Jo: Making good first impressions

I loved that scene because it's yet another thing they had in common -- that shared knowledge about the fishing lures. I can totally picture them heading out for a weekend fishing trip now to get away from work.

    Mac/Jo: Making good first impressions

Given the whole "Are you okay?" thing when she really didn't ever seem too endangered last night, I think that reaction should be pretty good.

    Mac/Jo: Making good first impressions

I swear Gary and Sela are at least playing it, even if it's not specifically on the page. Mac and Jo just seem way to familiar with each other for her to have been in his life for only a year unless they spend copious amounts of time together outside of work. But I loved every minute of it.

    Grade 'Cavallino Rampante'

Agree. A+. It was a lot more fun than I expected, and I liked where they went with the bigger story. I wonder if we'll be seeing that guy again. He seems like way too bad of a bad guy to be never heard from again. Loved all the Mac and Jo interactions. I swear, those two MUST be hanging out...

    Sela/Jo Thread #1 "I'm Jo Danville. I didn't do it."

It was Annette Benning, aka Mrs. Warren Beatty, that she borrowed the diaper from. I love that she told the Coke/Pepsi story. When I read that in her book, I laughed so hard.

Thanks for the heads-up. DVR is set!

    Mac/Jo: Making good first impressions

I have to be careful not to let my imagination run away with me too much... because why didn't they let Jo in on the bet? My mind is willing to believe it's because they all suspect she spends more time with Mac than gets admitted, and thus would know too much about what he was planning to do...

    Mac/Jo: Making good first impressions

Thanks for the hi! Yeah, they have me totally sucked in now. I think it'd be hysterical if that little flirty thing she does with Flack is what finally got Mac's hackles up and made him make a move.
