With the demise of CSI's franchises, there isn't really any purpose in hanging around here any longer. As John Cleese might have said, It has gone to rest and is pushing up the daisies. The only active poster here only posts TV schedules, which I can get from TVGuide.
There were some great...
Did anyone else catch the "jump the shark reference?" Har.
I feel it's tough to say whether or not they did a good job with this one. Like many series finales...there is no possible way the writers could come up with something that pleased everyone.
Having said that, this disappointed me, but...
I think Sookie meant the finale movie will not be "timeless." I agree it's a rather ignominious end to the series. But they did the same with Miami.
As for being a timeless series, perhaps. Don't forget that ABC passed completely, and CBS almost passed. When Bruck and Zuiker went to Nina...
This could be said of all the spinoffs in their later runs. But they at least had somewhat realistic beginnings. CSIC started strange and just hasn't recovered.
Well, given that CSI pioneered the "forecsic miracle" test, how do you know she just doesn't wake up, walk out and claim she had a vision from Eric Delko? Riddle me that.
Marg posted on Twitter, saying, "Yeah, baby! What fun it'll be to solve another crime with this crew," with a pic showing Jim, Doc, Warrick, Gil, Sarah, Catherine, Nick & Greg.

I can well imagine Nina is "misty-eyed" over axing CSI in such an inglorious way. I'm sure she just bawled her eyes over the way she kneecapped CSI:Miami too.
I know Nina was the ABC/Touchstone exec who championed the CSI pilot to Robert Iger, and was told to get lost. ABC has obviously...
Someone on Reddit pointed out that the ultra-dangerous firmware they showed on the computer screen was actually the HTML code for Wikipedia's entry "Firmware." :)
I got interrupted in the middle, but the idea of planting a virus to overheat machinery reminded me of the Stuxnet virus planted in the Iranian nuclear program to disable their centrifuges.
I don't even know where to begin on the five minutes I watched, except it was uber dumb. Evil twin routers? Are you kidding me?
I really hope PA is making bank on this show, because she now has to slog out a whole season of this drivel instead of cashing in on a plum film gig on the heels of...
Funny line from The Hollywood Reporter:
"The series is based on the work of cyber psychologist Mary Aiken. But just because the show is inspired by real life events doesn’t make it any less predictable. By now the formula is established: Find a known actor to headline your series (in this...
The show definitely isn't old-school CSI, but rather seemed to be a collection of old CBS procedural characters and scenes:
1. FBI gets to bogart any case they want (CM)
2. Semi-brooding lead with a mysterious past (Caruso)
3. Scruffy techno-dude who doesn't have to dress in FBI blue...
Obviously Mrs. Tattler went to the Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey Circus many times.
The blatant hubris in this stunt is both admirable and nauseating.
Yes, Melina is on tonight's episode. I think they stream live a day or so afterward. Melina looked fine. Her character was good--a little grittier than Stella. LPGA golfer Michelle Wie had a cameo at the very end.
I still wonder why two episodes were aired back-to-back. Especially because one was a season finale. I never heard of this in episodic TV before. I know there was a Holidays hiatus, and at least one episode got moved back a week due to a football game. Did CBS commit to a fixed date to start...
This is my last comment to you: your screen handle is Jim Mora. You lifted his "diddley-poo" post game interview en bloc. It doesn't take Erwin Schroedinger to figure this out.
You contribute very little other than to deride people. Rather pusillanimous. Look it up.
In case you're unfamiliar with some of the statements from the OP, he/she is channeling football coach Jim Mora, and a short tirade he had after losing a game while with the New Orleans Saints. If you search YouTube for "Jim Mora Saints rant," I believe you will find the result. It's not...
Try downloading an app called Shazam to your phone. Play the episode and run the app when the music plays. It can "hear" the tv, and is remarkably good at identifying all kinds of stuff.
Wow. A rather ignominious end to a great series. They're hanging on like Joe Willie Namath trying to play for the L.A. Rams. It's really sad. I guess the only rational thought is, Well, new viewers don't remember the backstory, so we'll just keep on going with our poor scripts.
And let's...
Since I've ignored any previews with those two words, I have no idea about these plots. Nina Tassler sure seems in hurry-up mode to get the season over and done with. Jeez.
