Stella/Melina #7 'Cause everything sounds better in Greek

Well, thanks to MK leaving, the world will be saved from a love triangle :D. Yes, they had planned to continue it and of course, they didn´t bother with details like how Peyton can go back to work in the States ;) Well, if this was his way to show he was unsure then it was quite a mature way...

Stella/Melina #7 'Cause everything sounds better in Greek

Well, as I said I thought Adam seemed a bit more mature, so it could have worked ;), at least for a while. But when he got back to his old goofy style, it would or should have ended. I agree, where they have stories in the episodes, they should have some say and discuss their scenes. I don´t...

Stella/Melina #7 'Cause everything sounds better in Greek

I know :p. But still I would have found it interesting in a way to see the teacher-pupil affair continue :D. That would at least have been something controversial, even if it didn´t have a long-standing future, but better than this boring new love interest for Mac. He could have met writers in...

Stella/Melina #7 'Cause everything sounds better in Greek

Yes, he could only wait and see what she´d choose for: another night or whether to continue the affair at all. But I never considered him as a sort of brother to her. Yes, maybe these five months are for Lindsay to jump in time and see how was coping or not coping with the events during the past...

Stella/Melina #7 'Cause everything sounds better in Greek

I agree, he had to go with Stella´s choice and he probably knew there was nothing to follow after that night. But if she had wanted more, then I´m sure he wouldn´t have rejected her. Yes, but whatever it means, the five months are probably just needed to let time pass after Stella´s exit...

Stella/Melina #7 'Cause everything sounds better in Greek

He was strange in these first episodes; he was unsure about his job as usual, alright, but otherwise he seemed more mature than before, unless this was just a sort of fake, a mask he put on to counter Haylen. His reaction to Stella´s rejection- not sure if that was honestly mature or fake, too...

Stella/Melina #7 'Cause everything sounds better in Greek

Well, I thought he was different than usual in the first few episodes, especially the way he behaved with Haylen. Later he was the same old, same old again, like you said. Usually I love Adam, even if not all jokes work and he sometimes seems only to be the jester of the lab, but he´s a fun...

Stella/Melina #7 'Cause everything sounds better in Greek

True. That´s why I had also problems with the way Adam seemed to have changed- suddenly he was grown up and self-confident, as if the night with Stella had done this :D. Or was it his fear that Haylen might want to grab his job that gave him the guts to show off? Later on he was more or less his...

Stella/Melina #7 'Cause everything sounds better in Greek

That reminds me of an interview that TPTB did before the beginning of S6, they were talking of "a lot of personal stuff of the characters to come, much more than before". Well, what happened is that they tried to stuff so many things into some characters that they messed it up, especially...

Stella/Melina #7 'Cause everything sounds better in Greek

I agree, it´s getting diffucult to create inspiring storylines when you´ve been involved with the same show and its characters for so long. Yep, and MK very obviously thought the same ;). I guess, they tried to bring in something what they thought was fresh and renewing to the show, that´s why...

Stella/Melina #7 'Cause everything sounds better in Greek

Thanks, Lori ;), and Melina´s interview proves at least partly that some of our assumptions were right: she wasn´t happy anymore with the development of Stella´s character. And Top41: we´re not offending anybody and as long as this is not the case, we should have the right to discuss this...

Stella/Melina #7 'Cause everything sounds better in Greek

She lost her writing skills or her mind or whatever it was that once made her write good stuff ;). Yes, unlike Veasey and Co. CG did his job with verve, even if the plot itself wasn´t the really big thing, but it was nice to watch anyway. Yes, the plan was always for MK to write this one...

Stella/Melina #7 'Cause everything sounds better in Greek

Lori K.----> Yes, don´t even dare to dream of it, they´re TPTB, the masters of disasters :D. They´ll feed us with a few lines in the premiere of what Stella is up to- and that was it. I agree, new lights through old windows as they say, and especially PV would really need a break, I´d...

Stella/Melina #7 'Cause everything sounds better in Greek

I couldn´t agree more. The cast of CSI NY is not the problem, it´s the stories. Some of the best episodes were those written by guest writers, because they are not constantly occupied with writing for NY, so they can view things from a different angle. Maybe it´s once more a budget issue...

Stella/Melina #7 'Cause everything sounds better in Greek

Yes, but I think time is not on CSI:NY´s side :D. Well, yes, and there are also always the "could have been´s" and "should have been´s" and "If only...", "What if..". I think people go into their jobs with the best intentions and then sometimes it ends in a mess if the circumstances change...

    Melina Kanakaredes Leaves CSI: NY

How will you know that she was unwilling, were you at the negotiations? We still don´t know what exactly happened, maybe she had very private and personal reasons to leave which then is not our business; and maybe she would have loved to do a"Goodbye-Episode" or two, but for whatever reason it...

Stella/Melina #7 'Cause everything sounds better in Greek

Yes, it would be the most likely version that Stella´s Mum was married to a Mr. Bonasera and he is dead, too. Well, me not that much, either :D. I don´t know if MK would let herself convince to come back as the saviour of a dying show, though maybe you´re right and she´d agree to do a few...

Stella/Melina #7 'Cause everything sounds better in Greek

Looks like, but it´s really confusing and getting harder to know what to think. I agree, they made a lot of efforts with Stella´s character; I hope they feel at least very bad and guilty about how badly an ending this is ., yes, they twisted Stella´s biography quite a few times, so...

Season 7 Spoiler Discussion - Welcome back to the Big Apple!

A little rivalry between Mac and Jo, at least in the beginning, sounds good and makes sense, because after all they still don´t know each other very well, and Mac as the Alpha male might be a bit wary that she could be an intruder into his territory. In any way their professional partnership...

Season 7 Spoiler Discussion - Welcome back to the Big Apple!

Well, no surprise that Lindsay shot Shane, why make a cliffhanger of that? But Lindsay and her reluctance to cooperate with her therapist- that sounds like something. I hope they won´t drop this story too soon again, like two, three episodes later Lindsay will have recovered...
