Criminal Minds #4: We Take Care Of Our Own!

So it seems the producers at Criminal Minds are adding not one, but two new regulars to fill the void: http://www.eonline.com/news/790150/criminal-minds-could-replace-thomas-gibson-with-2-new-characters One will apparently be the new Team Leader, the other still TBD.

Criminal Minds #4: We Take Care Of Our Own!

If I were a betting man, I'd say it goes down something like this: After Hotch has been away on "temporary duty" Garcia goes into Hotch's office one morning only to find Hotch's belongings gone and Cruz waiting in the office. The team is assembled, Cruz informs them that a personal and...

Criminal Minds #4: We Take Care Of Our Own!

The show survived Mandy Patinkin jumping ship. CSI survived several years (good ones IMO) without William Petersen. The various Law & Order shows turned over their entire casts throughout their runs. Criminal Minds will be fine. (Personally I've felt that Hotch hasn't seen much development...

Criminal Minds #4: We Take Care Of Our Own!

Glad to see CM original recipe is renewed...still feeling anxious about Beyond Borders. I'm curious to see if Aisha Tyler becomes a regular next season or if they cast another new female agent to fill the Prentiss gap. I'm almost certain we'll see a new male regular added next season.

    It's really over

If I could pick a city for a new CSI series, it would probably be Dallas. Texas has a culture all its own...obviously the oil industry, ranching etc. But lost of ole boys' clubs, clashes between old money and new money. Fortunes made and lost over night. Immigration (Legal and illegal.) I...

Anyone else have an emotional break down about Warrick?

Not really. Beyond the obvious problems Gary Dourdan was having, it wasn't like Warrick was the sort to simply take a job in another town, or travel the world to find himself or anything like that. He was a character with personal demons, and it made sense that it would eventually catch up...

What's one thing you wish hadn't happened in CSI?

It wasn't necessary to break Grissom and Sarah up to have Sarah return to the show. They could have simply returned to Vegas so Sarah could return to her career, while Grissom lived in Vegas, maybe working in academia or the private sector. He could still be "in town" while no longer...

    It's really over

I think their best bet would be to let the franchise cool off for a few years, then reboot in a new location with an all-new cast of relative unknowns. Returning to Vegas would automatically reduce the number of story options because I think they've already got everything they can out of Vegas...

    It's really over

I'm convinced that the franchise is just hibernating. I enjoy CSI Cyber but, let's face it...it's not going to run the 9-15 seasons the others did. About 4-5 seasons feels rights. At some point I'm sure we'll get another conventional CSI series with a new cast in a new locale. Star Trek is...

    Finale Movie -- SPOILERS

I'm convinced that this isn't the end of CSI as a franchise. Whether Cyber succeeds or not, I can see another conventional CSI series (ie: familiar formula in a new location) going to air in a few years once the franchise has had a cooling off period of sorts.

    Second Season Report

I'm thinking the logic in Ted Danson joining was: A) Provide more forensics support for non-cyber crimes. I expect they'll be dialing back the tech jargon a bit in an effort to aim for a broader audience. B) Have a male character with "gravitas" whose role is distinctively different from...

    CSI: Cyber

I'm thinking it will be explained that he's been transferred to another department or taken a job in the private sector somewhere. I don't envision a "good bye" episode for a character that existed for less than a season. I imagine they'll picked up in season 2 with him already gone and...

    CSI: Cyber

Forgive me if it's already been asked (if it has, I didn't see it) but now that CSI Cyber is the lone series carrying the CSI torch, is it possible to have its own board section so we can have separate threads for individual episodes, actors, characters, etc.?

    CSI: Cyber

Anyone notice a serious drop-off in Haley Kiyoko's screen time? I'm thinking the Raven Ramirez character isn't catching on and she's about to get the Megan Donner (CSI Miami) treatment and be dropped from the show with only a few lines of dialogue explaining her away. I'm not optimistic that...

Season 15 Spoiler Lab Discussion and Pics

In a weird way, George Eads leaving made me more confident that we'll get 16+ seasons. He'd have to have known if plans were being laid for more seasons and he had to decide if he wanted to re-up for the long haul or if he was ready to move on. If he thought the end was really in sight for the...

Gary Sinise Cast in Criminal Minds Spinoff

http://deadline.com/2015/01/gary-sinise-cast-criminal-minds-spinoff-cbs-1201351791/ Good News - Gary Sinise has been cast as the male lead in the planned Criminal Minds spinoff! He'll be playing Jack Garret - the team lead of an FBI unit whose job it is to help Americans who find themselves in...

    "Angle of Attack" Discussion *Spoilers*

I suspect that Sara's lack of screen time has more to do with the hours Jorja Fox is willing to work rather than neglect from the writers. IIRC, she's contracted to appear in about two-thirds of all episodes and has limits about number of hours in a filming day and the amount of travel for...

What song should be the theme song for CSI: Cyber?

"The Seeker" would be a perfect CSI theme for anything other than a "Cyber" themed series. Fingers crossed that if they ever do another CSI in a City series that they use it. As for CSI Cyber, dollars to donuts it's "I Can See for Miles" but I could see "Eminence Front" working too

Criminal Minds #4: We Take Care Of Our Own!

So I'm confused...is that the end for Alex Blake or is her status still up in the air pending the outcome of contract negotiations? The way it came across was that they set up that ending in such a way that if Jeanne Tripplehorn doesn't come back they won't need to have her come back for a...

    CSI to Sundays

<content removed> There's roughly 40 weeks in a TV season, with your typical show churning out about 20-24 episodes per season. No reason why 2 CSIs can't coexist. That being said, at least a couple of new shows will bomb...that's the business. The 10pm Sunday thing may not be as set in...
