    "Unshockable" Discussion *SPOILERS*

I think they were just mashing together random tidbits to create a tom-clancy-like political thriller plot. It was one third of Angela Merkel (current German chancellor and the first one from the former GDR), one third of Obama namedropping (OMG! imagine if something like that was found out...

    "One To Go" Discussion *SPOILERS*

I'm not sure there will be a successor to Ecklie since he mentioned that the Sheriff restructured the department and teams would report directly to him (the Sheriff). So, IIRC, Ecklie's position as Lab Director was made redundant and Ecklie got promoted to Undersheriff.

NCIS thread #3 - Shutting up now, Boss

I wonder who of the two would be the first to pick up the "dead family trauma" vibe from the other one...

    "19 Down..." Discussion *SPOILERS*

A rational explanation for not going as bugman is that Grissom is a bugman. Sure, he's not a professor of entomology, but maybe it would be too close to revealing personal information. So maybe that's why he picked a subject outside his actual area of expertise.

CSI: NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion - Back in the Big Apple

Re: CSI: NY Season 5 Spoiler Dicussion - Back in the Big Apple Fresh from Ausiello: I guess the wedding is old news for us, but lots of people were wondering about the policy on (married) couples... My opinion: there goes the hope of a "You can't work together. Chemicals are dangerous for...

    Grade 'The Cost of Living'

The Indiana Jones theme was obvious, but did anyone besides me get Lara Croft vibes from dead guy's girlfriend? I think the actress had a slight similarity to Angelina Jolie (lips, long hair, face). Ok, she didn't wear a sleeveless shirt and shorts, but still... I agree with most people: good...

    The Best Sara/Grissom Songs #2

IIRC, WP said in an interview something along the lines of "It's always darkest before dawn", and Grissom is currently going into this dark phase. This song just captures the mood of 9x02 for me :) Coldplay - What if What if there was no light. Nothing wrong, nothing right. What if there...

    Grade 'Sex, Lies and Silicone'

Best last shot/preview combination ever! I cracked up because I had the Indiana Jones theme on my mind, and the preview just fit... I wonder if this was done on purpose (too obvious for coincidence?) Adam, Sid AND Sheldon all in significant scenes? In one episode? Wow...I hope TPTB won't think...

Wow...loads of new information about Gibbs jr: why he was named Leroy Jethro, how he grew up, how he met Shannon, how she influenced his relationship to his father... my favorite was the bit at the end: now we know where the rules came from  Oh yeah the case...meh The Gibbs-Gibbs and...

    "For Warrick" Discussion *SPOILERS*

Re: "For Warrick" Season Premiere Discussion *SPOILERS* I looked it up in an online dictionary and both tenacity and tenaciousness were given as valid alternatives, so maybe tenacity is just the more common variant of the two. But I'm not a native English speaker and I don't have my Webster's...

    "For Warrick" Discussion *SPOILERS*

Re: "For Warrick" Season Premiere Discussion *SPOILERS* Uhm is it just me or was McKeen's backstory incredibly weak? waaay to elaborate and why did McKeen call in the cops in the first place? The sounds of Warrick dying really sent a chill down my spine I loved how they showed all the team's...

    Grade 'Turbulence'

I gave it a B+ I liked Adam out in the field, poor guy. I'm glad there's no smell transmission on TV though Danny and Flack in the club were just priceless I hope in the next episodes there will be more teamwork and less Mactionhero (not that there's anything wrong with it...in small doses)

Criminal Minds #2: How May We Save Your Ass Today?

And it was a nice follow-up to the Hotch/Morgan scene at the end of Ep1, where Hotch tells Morgan he never lets other people drive (=has trust issues). IIRC Hotch was somewhere in the background...I'm sure they both thought back to that scene
