    Finale Movie -- SPOILERS

It's not hard to imagine CBS trying for a reboot in a few years (especially if they're desperate for a hit) ... but I hope they don't. I just don't think they can recapture the magic of those great early years. For me, the first four years were the best. Season 5 was still good, but took on a...

Was "Immortality" a satisfying series finale?

I agree. But I think the dramatic intent of that scene was to show how much the crime lab had changed since Grissom worked there. He was wandering around in a building full of strangers ... except for those few still there who recognized him.

    Finale Movie -- SPOILERS

I agree with you on all counts. I thought Ray and DB were both good characters, showing so much promise early on and well played by their respective actors ... but ultimately let down by the writing. The same was true, on a lesser level, for William Petersen's Grissom, who is such a remarkable...

Was "Immortality" a satisfying series finale?

I agree, and I think this was a big problem with this finale. The story was so focused on getting Grissom and Sara back together that it neglected the team chemistry which was like its own character in the series for so many years. I have to wonder if maybe, because the team has changed so much...

    Finale Movie -- SPOILERS

For me, the finale was OK, nothing special. I needed a well-crafted case along the lines of what made the series so great in its early years ... and that didn't happen. It basically seemed like an excuse to get Grissom and Sara back together, which IMO puts it at the level of fan fiction. Too...

Good to see those two together again!

    Finale Movie -- SPOILERS

Elisabeth Shue isn't in the finale, but I thought I read that Ted Danson is in it.

    Season 16 ?

I wonder if Nick and Brass will also return for this? They certainly should be included, IMO.

    Bring Back Brass

While most of us would probably agree with you, I doubt she makes the kind of money Paul was. Sadly, I suspect this was a financial decision.

    CSI: Cyber

I watched the first episode and was underwhelmed. It all felt very cookie-cutter, by the numbers ... whatever cliche for "predictable" you want to use. I haven't felt compelled to watch subsequent episodes. Such a shame for a franchise of this caliber.

    Nick's house

Here's the link to the original Entertainment Weekly article you're probably thinking of: Meet the good ol' boy of "CSI" Unfortunately, it ends with: " I just got to see Nick’s apartment for the first time after 43 episodes, and I had to tell them to get rid of some stuff." This page continues...

    "The End Game" Discussion **SPOILERS**

Exactly, Smokey. Though, when they dialed back Finn's attitude, I saw a glimmer of hope. But really, they were just trying to recreate Grissom and Sara, right? After all, those two knew each other before Vegas. But while we got to see that relationship grow over time, as you say, with D.B. and...

    "The End Game" Discussion **SPOILERS**

Very well put. I couldn't have said this better. There was so much potential when they brought in Ted Danson. I have liked Elisabeth Shue in pretty much everything I've ever seen her in (she's a riot in Hamlet 2). So the fault is not with the actors. But it's like the powers-that-be, who are in...

    "The Greater Good" Discussion *Spoilers*

It pains me to say this, but I think that was probably the worst CSI episode ever ... and it's had a fair bit of competition lately with the rest of the Gig Harbor episodes. I really couldn't have cared less what happened to D.B.'s daughter, because the whole idea of using her as "bait" was so...

    "The Twin Paradox" Discussion

Yeah, I really don't know why they felt they had to resurrect this back story of D.B.'s. Did they not learn from the Ray/Nate fiasco? I watched it, but like others I was mostly bored. Sad state of affairs. I guess the bright side is this is supposed to be a four-episode arc ... so we've knocked...

Season 15 Spoiler Lab Discussion and Pics

While I agree with you, I think the earliest years of CSI achieved this quite well, whereas later on, when they wrote Sara as somewhat psychotic and jealous of Sofia (I've been rewatching these episodes lately), that bothered me every bit as much. The guys, by and large, got along pretty well...

    "Buzz Kill" Discussion

I'm not sure who believes Grissom and Sara are still together. I thought it was made pretty clear in that awful "Forget Me Not" episode that they'd split up. I took "split up" to mean that they were no longer married, but maybe in some camps there's always hope. Not for me. I never really cared...

    "Buzz Kill" Discussion

I too have given up. It has nothing to do with the timeslot, as we have our DVR set to record it. It's the storylines. Bleh!

    "The CSI Effect" Discussion

Hubby and I thought this was a very ho-hum episode. Kinda like Paul Milander redux ... only when it was Paul Milander, it was done far better. For me, the main problem was with the writing. Just not very inventive. And the actor playing the killer and his twin was not very good, IMO. Very much...

"Dead In His Tracks" Discussion **SPOILERS**

I thought Paul was outstanding in this episode, though I agree it wasn't much of a story, and it wasn't the best send-off he could have been given. Still, his scenes were the best, and he handled this situation professionally. I just hope this leaves the door open for future guest appearances...
