ONe of those cases that showed the CSI's were human to a degree. I know several real police officers and off the record,they hate having to arrest people like the perps in tonight'e episode,even when they know they have to. You can't take the law into your own hands,even against scumbag...

According to CBS..everything will be delayed by 43 minutes...I don't think they will even show it this week.

With most crimes shows, after a while it becomes hard to come up with fresh material. About the only new thing was the digital media being brought into it.

Mentioned this in the other thread but I have come to terms with the fact that CSI NY is likely to get the ax. The writing is on the wall..all that remains is for THTB to put the period on it.

IMO CSI NY won't be back next year. If nothing else,this season has less episodes than S4 which was cut short by the writer's strike. I think CSI Miami will be safe for one more year. After that,who knows?

I gave this episode an A-. Nice to see that a CSI is allowed to have a life with family outside of the lab. Solid case as well. Nice to see that even though the professor won't be brought up on rape charges,he is going to lose his job and reputation due to the social media,something that wasn't...

Def seems like there is a case in Finn's past where she had her hopes up..only to have them dashed at the end.

I agree with others in saying that we would all like the shows to go out on top. That's why part of me was okay with Cold Case,another favorite show of mine ending when it did. The episodes were starting to decline just a little bit in terms of storyline but it still left with its dignity...

As others have stated,petitions very rarely work. In the case of Criminal Minds,there were other factors at work. But I've filled out too many of these to know that 99% of the time,when TPTB decide to pull the plug, especially on a long running program,there's no turning back.

Indeed..you think it stops once football is over with..no such luck. As to the frustration level some posters here show..well,that's the idea when they put shows there. To make viewers give up and watch something else. As for tonight's show..just had a feeling about the dad the minute he showed...

I still think CSI NY will be getting the chopping block at the end of the season. All due respect to CSI Miami..that show jumped the shark a long,long time ago. I just don't see how it's lower on the chopping block then NY.

In a way,Nick did walk away..also knowing that the killer has no idea of what he did..and that perhaps never will.

Not a bad episode at all. The father was obvious as a suspect so I'm glad they didn't go down that route. Sad to see how the "victim" Nick bonded with turned out to be the killer but it's not the first time we've seen that on the show so far. As for Finn,I like what I've seen so far. She should...

Last season of JAG did that for me. Cold Case..while the series finale was great, the few episodes before that were heading in that direction.

I give this episode a B. NIce to see they are taking Mac's romance slow and there is still good humor throughout the episode despite the off the scenes turmoil that is no doubt happening. One thing I'm missing...is Adam. It won't be right if he's not in the last few episodes.

Sadly it doesn't. The ratings aren't high enough to make a difference to the bean counters.
