I think the new girl is just a "new girl". With Sara moving to swing, there is a space on the shift and someone new comes in. That she apparently only last 5 episodes either means she doesn't work out, does something stupid, or ends up as the next Holly Gribbs. The "new love interest" I think...

At some point, I guess I just have to wonder. Perhaps Jorja has made enough money that it is no longer an issue. Perhaps she is no longer enjoying the work. Who knows? It is clear though that each and every one of the main characters is up for renewal for season 9 if it happens. Based on...

I have to say that while any campaign like this is well intentioned, in this case, it is also meaningless. If the interviews that Jorja Fox gave are any indiction, the show didn't "fire" her, rather, she chose not to resign a new contract at the rate offered, she said something in an interview...

Good to see Harold Perrineau in this show. Whenever I see him, no matter what he does, I always end up thinking of Oz. It is weird to not see Jorja Fox listed at all. I also notice a total absence of Ecklie in the listings, so perhaps the GSR stff gets "shipped" off to next week.

I think that is key. As this season progresses, I am sure that the various players and thier agents will be working on getting contract extensions done, or more clearly stating that they are not intending to return, or getting the news from the network / producers that they are no longer...

Actually, the end of this season will likely depend on the status of everyone's contracts going forward. Pretty much all of the current players are signed on only until the end of season 8. So there may be something more of a "hello goodbye" at the end of this season for some of the characters...

ffo, I think that they specifically won't kill Sara off as in "dead", but move to make her invisible. Either just the shift thing, or more likely quitting and moving away or getting a job in another jurisdiction. Jorja Fox seems to have made it clear that she is in for about 5 or 6 episodes...

Please also note, while this may not be the right place to mention this, CSI once again blew Grey's away in the overnights. Already stories forming up over the "fall from Greys"

I think Sara considers it possibly when they first were, umm, physical. Grissom may consider it the first time he saw her. What most people didn't notice is that even Sara's answer is a bit of a problem: 2 years. So, go back to, hmm, start of season 6? End of Season 5? That in itself...

Well, if nothing else, the spoiler pics seem to indicate that the length of time from Dead Dolls to here is a relatively short period of time, as Sara has her arm in a sling. It also appears that she is in the same situation in episode 3 (is she standing with the new girl in that pic?)

The sad fact is that until the GSR plays out and gets "smartyly concluded" it will be a key part of any episode. As I mentioned on the last page, I would suspect that by about episode 6 or so we will see this thing played out and dead. But in the meantime, it is a dark cloud over the entire...
