"Secrets and Flies" Discussion **Beware Spoilers**

I would assume in vitro could be performed on a woman who had never had sex. Or even implantation of a fetus as a surrogate. I hope the episode doesn't get too religious, given Grissom's aversion to religion. I just don't really want to hear it.

"Gum Drops" Discussion Thread **Beware Spoilers**

But wouldn't that be only if the pot had been smoked and their were fumes in the air? I'm not expert on marijuana, certainly, but I'm fairly sure that the plants don't cause any reaction. Even if they're dried. I figured she was just sick of dusting for prints and was delegating the dirty job...

"Gum Drops" Discussion Thread **Beware Spoilers**

That would be a bit of a stretch, wouldn't it? That a friend of the family in another of their cases just happens to be Nick's attacker? I prefer to think of it as a moment of confirmation that Nick is doing all right, even though I don't believe in third eyes or past lives, either. And a...

"Bite Me" Discussion Thread **Beware Spoilers**

And I must have missed something else because I didn't understand why they were so sure the father knew about what the daughter had done.

"Bite Me" Discussion Thread **Beware Spoilers**

Is it usual for investigators to be so suspicious right from the start? It was obvious that they suspected the husband immediately, which is fine, but do they always treat and question their suspects with so much blatant hostility? And dang! Are those her real teeth? :D

"Bite Me" Discussion Thread **Beware Spoilers**

Are there no marriages in Las Vegas where they aren't committing adultery? Not that I would wish a crime to happen to a happily married couple, but honestly, CSI makes Las Vegas sound like it's Sodom and Gomorrah.

    "Grave Danger" Discussion (Beware Spoilers)

Re: Post - "Grave Danger" Episode Discussion/Review ***Spoi Try right after Nick shoots out the light? I know which scene you're talking about, but I'm not exactly sure myself where it is. I'm pretty sure it's before Walter Gordon blows himself up, though.

    "Grave Danger" Discussion (Beware Spoilers)

Re: Post - "Grave Danger" Episode Discussion/Review ***Spoi That might be the entire problem right there, because Grave Danger was my first ever episode, so I also had no context of the relationship between Grissom and Nick. Plus, I'm kinda touchy about hearing speech, because I have trouble...

    "Grave Danger" Discussion (Beware Spoilers)

Re: Post - "Grave Danger" Episode Discussion/Review ***Spoi Sure, it's more poignant *now* that I know what he said. But the first time, when Grissom said "No, Nick, you never did," my thought was "Never did what? What the he!! are you talking about?" and it completely dragged me out of the...

    "Grave Danger" Discussion (Beware Spoilers)

Re: Post - "Grave Danger" Episode Discussion/Review ***Spoi Okay, a few random thoughts/observations/questions, and then I'm off to bed! Bloodhounds don’t lose a scent because the target gets in a vehicle. It wasn’t a quarter, it was 50 cent piece (JFK on the coin). How are they so sure...

    "Grave Danger" Discussion (Beware Spoilers)

Re: Post - "Grave Danger" Episode Discussion/Review ***Spoi I had to tape it because I had a game tonight, so I'm watching for suspicious stuff. It's so hard to tell, though, if the officer at the scene is acting suspicious or if he's just not that great of an actor. The barf was pretty...

    BASEBALL

Heh! Sorry about that, Charisma. But our pitcher got a run-scoring double in the first inning. That's pretty much how it went. You guys even had your third baseman pitching in the eight inning. But he did okay. He gave up a 3-run homerun, but he didn't walk anyone. :D

Re: Det Vartann Tony??? I hope it does change. Tony is a fine name, but it's not Vartan.

    "Grave Danger" Discussion (Beware Spoilers)

My guess would be that they're showing two single episodes, just in case the President's speech runs long, or they want to show some commentary/what-have-you afterwards that would make them have to cut one of the hours out. I'm not sure if this is the kind of speech where they are obligated to...

    "Grave Danger" Discussion (Beware Spoilers)

I'd participate. It's not that I have anything against Grissom and Sara having a relationship. I just think it would be a big mistake. They are so WRONG for each other. Nick and Sara are much better matched, to be honest. Although if Nick is going to be deeply scarred by his GD experiences...

Psst...OT to Destiny. Happy Birthday tomorrow! Did you know you share a birthday with Dame Agatha Christie? She'd be 115, if she was still alive. :D

    "Grave Danger" Discussion (Beware Spoilers)

This is not the place for political discussion, so I won't get into it except to say that there are more people than just Mr. Bush who need to look at themselves and explain their actions (or lack thereof). That being said, however, I still believe that a Presidential speech, whichever political...

    "Grave Danger" Discussion (Beware Spoilers)

I happen to think that the President's speech is slightly more important than a rerun, and that Mr. Bush has more important things to worry about than inconveniencing a few tv show fans. But I do think it's odd that they would bump a premiere in order to show a repeat. I can't imagine that the...

Ever Recieved An Autographed Pic From A Celeb?

I got several autographs from Denver Nuggets back in the 80s in the Doug Moe days, including a couple from Alex English, who starred in "Amazing Grace and Chuck" with William Petersen. I also wrote and got an autographed photo from Stephen Fry. In addition to starring in the "Jeeves & Wooster"...
