Who is your favorite character on CSI:NY?

I voted for Mac, but he is very closely followed by a 4-way tie between Flack, Hawkes, Adam and Sid, in no particular order. I just think those five characters are, for me, the consistently most compelling in the show, from season to season - even if I don't always like what the writers give...

NCIS thread #3 - Shutting up now, Boss

I absolutely loved last night's Knockout episode!!! I thought it was the most well crafted NCIS ep I've seen in a long time, right up there with Heartland, which I thought was the other superb one this season. Of course, I'm a totally unabashed, unapologetic Vance Fan, so no wonder that I...

    Mac #6: Unbuttoned...

Sophia's folly, I like the way you think! Now I have visions of gently tugging at that tie and leading Mac away to a quiet, cozy little intimate place... nice way to start the day out!

Big Season Finale Spoiler *MAJOR SPOILER*

I tend to agree with the general trend here, that the most likely suspects are Hill, Anna or Emmanuelle. I think this has more to do with an actor wanting to leave the show, and less to do with the writers/PTB wanting to kill someone off for a ratings boost, which would be temporary at best...

    Gary#5 "Houston...We Have A Hottie!"

MacsGirlMel, thanks for the article link! Gary certainly is passionate about his pet topics, and whether one agrees with his viewpoints or not, it's always a great read when he discusses them. :)

Fantastic Spoilers! Thanks to everyone for the updates! It certainly sounds like there are some highly compelling storylines coming up, I can't wait! Between some drama for Flack, a much-awaited juicy storyline for Hawkes (and it's about damn time! :wtf:), continuation of Stella's...

    Mac #6: Unbuttoned...

Major Mac eye candy, thank yeeeew very much!!! Did anyone happen to catch the CSI NY marathon on the Spike Network all of New Year's Day? I was in heaven! Goodness, there were marathons on several channels with some of my fave shows: "Monk" on USA, "Mythbusters" on Discovery, "Bones" on...

    Gary#5 "Houston...We Have A Hottie!"

Ooops, I can't believe I called the movie "Forgotten Angel", and I knew the correct name of it, too. My bad. :alienblush: It was wonderful, especially compared to all the sappier stuff that crowds the channels during this time of year. It was so well written and acted, all around. My mom really...

    Gary#5 "Houston...We Have A Hottie!"

Hello my fellow Taylor Girls, I hope everyone had a Happy Holiday season! I was finally able to see Gary's wonderful "Forgotten Angel" Christmas movie in it's entirety, this year. I always find it on a channel somewhere more than halfway through, so I always miss at least the entire...

    Gary#5 "Houston...We Have A Hottie!"

Railynn, you brought up a good point. What the heck do you get a loved one who probably already has anything they want or need? A kid can only buy Dad so many ties or pairs of socks! Of course, with someone as busy as Gary is, the best gift his family can give him, no doubt, is their...

Fruitbat, thanks so much for posting that article, what an amazing, inspiring read it was! *sniffle* It brought tears to my eyes. :) Lovely to read about Gary's work and selflessness, and just as lovely to read the wonderful comments from people who have gotten to know and admire him through his...

Ooooooh, Major Thankees to you ladies, for those gorgeous pix and caps!!! Massive Meltdown here! I've been very sick and feeling pretty pissy myself all week long, so those caps of Pissy!Mac (and I love grocery-shopping Mac, too!) are just what the doctor ordered!!

    Grade 'Forbidden Fruit'

I thought the majority of this ep was pretty darn good, earned a solid B from me. A few things rankled with me, but overall entertaining. Loved the bits of continuity we're getting this season, which is a welcome change from seasons past. It was fun seeing Sid get grossed out during the...

    Season 5 Ratings

Great news about this week's ratings boost, an additional million viewers!! The promo they used the full week beforehand advertising the show was a good one, with the whole slightly eerie "Triangle" angle, so I'm sure that intrigued plenty of viewers to tune in and see what it was all...

What's one thing you wish hadn't happened in CSI?

After last night's CSI NY, I have another to add to the list. I really wish that TPTB hadn't decided to work Anna Belknap's pregnancy into the show (although I realize it's easier that way), and I really wish they didn't have Danny propose marriage to her!! :wtf: He even quizzed her beforehand...

    Grade 'The Triangle'

Once again, the D/L scenes dropped my overall grade much lower than it normally would have been: a C-. There were several great scenes in this episode, but for me they were overshadowed by the unpleasantries of the D/L crap. He quizzes her before asking her to marry him???!! :wtf: At least she...

NCIS thread #3 - Shutting up now, Boss

Welcome, Tee! And I have to agree wholeheartedly with you, I think an NCIS/CSI NY crossover would be fantastic! Seeing Gibbs and Mac kick ass and solve a case together is the stuff that dreams are made of, for me... And yeah, Stella and Ziva/Ducky and Sid would definitely be tons of...
