CSI: NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion--Drama in Alphabet City!

I believe it's actually this; 522 - this week (29th) 523 - may 6th 524 - may 13th 525 - may 14th (Thurs) While it's great to see two episodes airing in one week, I'm not sure how the change of day for the finale will affect the ratings.

Who had the best character development this season?

For me, it's Don Flack who's had the best development this season. Before season 5 the only well developed characters were Mac, Stella and Danny which is shameful after 4 seasons. It was about time the others got a look in. In fact I think tptb have done a great job of sharing the storylines...

    Peter Lenkov

Thanks Kristine. Interesting interview, even though he was obviously keeping his cards close to his chest about some things. I like that there's a possibility of Sam Flack returning. I really liked her character and she added an interesting new dimension to Don, which I appreciated. It is...

Danny in a TV Guide Poll... *SPOILERS*

I picked the first choice, but it could just as easily have been the fourth. I certainly don't think the character is played out and I don't find him boring (yet!). I really am viewing S5 as a transition season for Danny, a kind of investment if you like. They're increasing the stakes for...

Grade 'The Past, Present and Murder'

I also only just got around to watching this one. It very much felt like a transitionary episode, setting us up for a finale that will no doubt be high drama. Mac is definitely a little supercilious in this one, which is kind of annoying. He's set his sights on Dunbrook, and while I'm sure it...

    Anna/Lindsay #6: Baby on Board!

I would love to see that also. Not only would we get a chance to see kick ass Lindsay (because I'm sure she does exist) but there would also be a perfect opportunity to bring up her past trauma in a positive way. It's one thing having her digging in and trying to save a complete stranger, but...

CSI: NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion--Drama in Alphabet City!

I read elsewhere that they've definitely changed the schedule so that the new episode airs next week, they then have a double episode of Criminal Minds on the 22nd apparently, then NY is on continuously from the 29th until the finale.

Should Danny and Lindsay really be getting married?

There's no doubt in my mind that Anna's pregnancy necessitated Lindsay's pregnancy and took them on their current path. But, I'm also convinced that Rikki's return was not planned to be the end of Danny and Lindsay, and that tptb had the long term view of either having them together or at least...

Should Danny and Lindsay really be getting married?

I doubt they're ignoring it, more that they just don't see things the way you do. Tptb obviously see chemistry and they've written them to be in love, irrespective of how 'believable' that is to everyone. Basically, some people believe, some don't. :)

CSI: NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion--Drama in Alphabet City!

I definitely 'see' the hotness between them, but I'm just not feeling it. It's obvious the relationship is going well, but the spark isn't there for me. I'm clearly in the minority though :). You make a good point . I did however notice one of Flack's ties strategically placed over a...

CSI: NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion--Drama in Alphabet City!

Hmm, I still can't really get over the whole 'they've put them together because they look good' thing with these two. I like them, but there's just something missing, the scene doesn't quite sizzle as I'd like it to (or as I think it should do). :) Maybe it's partly because I know what's...

I was like "Ooh, they got AJ's surname wrong AND his age is waaay off". Silly. :p

Big Season Finale Spoiler *MAJOR SPOILER*

Oh no! You realise it's gonna be all over the internet by morning? It's rather amusing but not terribly convincing (which, of course it's not meant to be). The "A different character- also in a relationship with another character- is the one dying, but as to who that is I won't say" is...

CSI: NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion--Drama in Alphabet City!

I think the 'problem' (if it really is one) is that people are invested in the characters and the show. It's possible to see it as fantasy but to still be affected by it (if not, why bother watching?). Someone recoiling at the prospect of the baby dying if they're invested in the characters is...

CSI: NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion--Drama in Alphabet City!

I'm not sure how saying that CBS are unlikely to kill off the baby is blurring the lines between fiction and reality . They obviously don't shy away from killing children, Ruben being a case in point. But, I think killing the baby of a main character (or two) is not likely. Not...

Big Season Finale Spoiler *MAJOR SPOILER*

They're upsetting to me too, but not in the same way because I go into it expecting it. Usually you know that someone is going to go on a particular episode so I tend to think of the worst case scenario and go with it. As for Jack being safe, for the time being he is, but maybe not forever...

CSI:NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion - This City Never Sleeps

I could be wrong but I don't think it has gone beyond that. I don't feel as though I know enough about Angell to understand how quickly she'd jump into things romantically but I do see Flack as being a little cautious. I guess it all depends on when their relationship took off. I'm seeing it...

Big Season Finale Spoiler *MAJOR SPOILER*

Well they didn't ruin the finale for me. I actually couldn't have watched it if I didn't know who it was (not that it's a problem really because I'm in the Uk and don't see it at 'first airing' anyway). I'm a bit of a wuss when it comes to character deaths, I just find them too disturbing if...

CSI:NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion - This City Never Sleeps

Tonight's the night for the un-funnies then . As for Flack, I wouldn't be surprised if he turns in on himself. He doesn't seem to be one to reach out and ask for help, which is why I really want Danny to step up to the mark. I'm sure Mac will be there, but I really don't want Mac...
