wouldn't the fact that she had an affair with her supervisor greatly lessen her chances of being made a supervisor? Some of the crew is likely to wonder if she got because she and Grissom were lovers.

Spoiler for 8 said something about two murders. One is the murder of a woman at a bar where she works. The other is the murder of a model in a martini glass on a billboard. I didn't see the one for seven, but I may not have gone back far enough.

Will they have a scene where Grissom officially tells Nick he is second in charge or has he been second in charge all along? Aren't the only people that outrank him Catherine and Grissom?
