A Fond Farewell From Mrs. G

Heh heh. As someone who's been reading a long time, this is going to be interesting... :D

slightly OT: my CSI: NY novel is out

Have this on pre-order. Just waiting for it to become available to Amazon UK... I'm actually really interested to read this one, being the first one by a different author. Not that I have any issue with SMK's writing - just used to tie-in novels by a variety of authors.

    Carmine-What is Cessau?

You were the one making gross assumptions about his life based on one statement he's made a handful of times. Also, 'Junkie'? Sorry, but I think that's some cheek... You know, I could see Carmine as the 'Crazy Cat Dude'...

    Carmine-What is Cessau?

Carmine also has a dog...as mentioned on the show. There's a pic of it on the Ceesau site. The cat thing always makes me giggle though. I can honestly say I've never known a straight guy to live alone with a cat as a pet... :D To be honest, I don't think Carmine's personal life is anyone...

    Carmine-What is Cessau?

Your Google-fu failed you... :( Someone on here pointed out the KROQ site to me, since the bulletin on MySpace gave the link to the Loveline site out, and they charge to listen...

    Carmine-What is Cessau?

Working 12 hour days is a bitch - I did those hours regularly when I was in Logistics Management. (Not by choice, I assure you.) All I wanted to do when I got home was have a couple of beers, chill out and go to bed. I swear, all I did was work and sleep. It was on KROQ's website, which is...

    Carmine-What is Cessau?

Oh I definitely agree. :) I just loathe to use that phrase which validates male privilege. ;) I was in the music industry for a bit, before my hearing declined to the point where I couldn't anymore - I did an AD in Sound Engineering and did some intern type work with some studios. It is like...

    Is Danny a Slut?

I think that is something a lot of people forget when they are using terms to define promiscuity. There is no measure set in stone that decides a person is promiscuous - it is generally their attitude towards sex that decides whether they are promiscuous or not, not the notches on the bedpost.

    Carmine-What is Cessau?

Some of the problems were pretty ridiculous and were things if you took five minutes to sit down and think, you'd figure out yourself. I got the impression with a few callers that they were calling in for the kick of it and those people are ripe for the mocking. However when it is obvious by...

    Carmine-What is Cessau?

I'm thinking that like most radio shows, the calls are vetted quite heavily. They probably get thousands of calls each night and answer less than fifteen of them. It wouldn't be hard to think up responses when you are likely going to get a caller who will cover every eventuality. Size of an...

    Carmine-What is Cessau?

I gave my reason already. A lot of the stuff just seems to be said for the response rather than the giving of advice, and they always have the right wisecrack for the occasion. So totally inorganic. Just because a show is 'live' doesn't mean it can't be loosely scripted. As to the song -...

    Carmine-What is Cessau?

You know, I've been a member of the geek squad for years - I love me some good Sci-Fi, which TV is sorely lacking these days. I don't think I've ever come across guys like this before. I was just appalled. Quite. People often don't think about the words they use and how it can mean...

    Carmine-What is Cessau?

Men forget that they have unearned privilege in society. It's strange because there was a whole thing on LJ earlier where this guy arranged something at a Sci-Fi event where women were issued with badges based on their willingness to allow men to ask them if they could fondle their breasts. I...

    Carmine-What is Cessau?

They are pretty snarky...while the advice in some cases is genuine, I think the way they put it isn't necessarily always going to be particularly helpful to the caller. That rape thing was just offensive. I cannot understand why people make a connection between being a victim of abuse as a kid...

My thoughts exactly. :p He's giving out some solid dating advice. I'm surprised the guys are so good at this... This sounds interesting. Ah, Gary. Yes, let's just say I have a 'friend' who worked with him...

So, we know what Carmine does in the bath now...I just hope there is water in there at the same time.   I'm deferring the reporting responsibility to you... :p

I'm gonna be honest, I think this is staged. It just seems so false and for the humour... Heh heh. I'm intrigued. And nosey. :p

    Carmine-What is Cessau?

Ah, that sucks. It was being funky on my XP PC, so I ended up moving it to my Vista Media Centre... This annoyed me actually, because I was going to capture the audio and all the software is on the XP PC... It's a shame the podcasts aren't free.

Cute, arty and a little shy with a hint of bad-boy. Perfect. :) We're getting to the tunes now on the internet stream...I love this song. *resists temptation to turn it up, it being 07:20ish here*

    Carmine-What is Cessau?

I don't have a problem with talking about this stuff - freely and bluntly. I think it might be the beating around the bush some of these people are doing that is making me laugh so hard. I wouldn't dream of calling a show - I have friends for this stuff. We have shows like this in some areas...
