I completely agree with you, lemon_grass, I am very irritated that after the teams are FINALLY pulled back together, they STILL have Grissom and Sara working together, 2 cases in a row so far.

Re: TOW the Friends Fans LOL; one of my favorites is the one where the smoke alarm kept chirping at Phoebe. The reason I love that episode is the exact same thing happened to me (remove battery and it still beeps at you). I just KNOW their writers were pulling from personal experiences on that.

Sometimes though, storylines get dropped, and in real life, people "hint" around at a romance with it going no where, so I think it is realistic for them to drop it. Someone said (before the forum was removed) on TWoP that they wondered if TPTB realized how truly incompatible they have made...
