Episode 9x01 - "Fallen" ***CONTAINS SPOILERS***

This is part of the dichotomy of the CSIM writers that I can never understand. They can reach back and pull a character like the wealthy Cubano who openly gives Horatio $10 million in bait money to catch Ron Saris, but they suddenly develop writer's block when it comes time to engineer a...

    Comeback of CSI members

I don't think Vanessa Ferlito can come back...from the dead. The obvious choice is William Petersen. But he's said so many vaguely caustic things about the show and about portraying Las Vegas, I doubt he would ever do it. The new choice for me would be Melina Kankaredes. Now that she's a CSI...

    Horatio/DC #15: 'Back To Basics'

I thought it might be the blogger who uncovered DC as a 26 year-old, gap-toothed Irish gangster on Hill Street Blues. http://img2.imagetitan.com/img2/small/41/41_gw240h181.png

    **Season Nine Spoiler Lab**

During tonight's CSILV, there was a promo showing Horatio and Frank in different locations, but obviously within eyesight, shrugging their shoulder at each other, as if to say, "WTF?" That should be funny. CBS also has a 4-minute "retrospective" of recent events from the last season. As if...

    "Pool Shark" Discussion **SPOILERS**

Enjoyable. Yes, the casino and shark puns were everywhere: ...I don't see any other marks on her. ...Then we need to flip her (Flipper) over. :guffaw: but who cares? We all know that LV casino owners are at each others' throats, so the scenario is semi-believable. I like it when Vegas types...

CSI: Miami is moving to Sunday at 10PM!

I looked at what I assume will be the CBS Sunday night lineup: Amazing Race, Undercover Boss, then CSIM, then presumably the late local news. I'm still puzzled by two things: 1. CBS presumably sunk a lot more cash into a crime drama with 5 or 6 fairly high paid actors, sets and location...

Season 11 "Spoiler Lab" Discussion Part 2

Let's put it this way: she thought it was a great idea to marry Marilyn Manson. :shifty: If they have to fill all 25 episodes with a star, I have a few suggestions, given the current list. so far: - Donald Sutherland. If you're gonna have Elliot Gould, you might as well get Hawkeye Pierce...

    "Pool Shark" Discussion **SPOILERS**

Scott Wilson. Ironically, he also starred in a crime/drama film called "The Grissom Gang." Elliot Gould has done some of the Law & Order-type shows in the past few years, and I recall seeing him briefly in the "Oceans" films. He is more of a "NYC actor" than a Hollywood guy. He fell in...

Eric/Calleigh storyline -- why we dislike it. Part 2 **spoilers**

If the "bromance" gets too sticky sweet, one of the old bad guys needs to come in and derisively refer to Eric as "Co-Caine." And yes, more Frank. Develop his character, aside from his past wives and his vague love of the bottle.

    "Shock Waves" Discussion **SPOILERS**

It wouldn't make for a good story line. Either she would have to go back to France or wherever Grissom is right now (meaning she takes a few episode vacation), or Griss would have to be in LV, and it wouldn't feel right if he didn't make an appearance in the lab. I'm sure they could do it with...

    "Pool Shark" Discussion **SPOILERS**

The flashback episodes are always fun. Good chance to develop a character more deeply. And CSILV has a good history of giving their departing actors an appropriate sendoff. He was Trapper John in the original MASH. The only actor to be in both the TV series and the film was Gary Burghoff (Radar).

CSI: Miami is moving to Sunday at 10PM!

CBS does not have the late football game on October 3rd. So the show should start on time. At least this week.

    **Season Nine Spoiler Lab**

He's going to team up with Ron Saris and the heretofore unknown brother of Clavo Cruz to form a Miami "Legion of Doom" armed by the crooked police thug in Brazil. They try and blow up the crime lab with a giant swarm of stink bugs, but the plan is foiled when Horatio calls up his old pal Gil...

    Grade 'The 34th Floor'

Overall, a good season opener. Some people will never like Jo because "she isn't Stella." The same people will never like Laurence Fishburne either. Seeing this after the LV premiere, there obviously ween't so many explosions, but it did finally kill off Edward Furlong. Seriously, you fall...

    "Shock Waves" Discussion **SPOILERS**

True. If any actor wants out of the show, they can just blow him up in the next episode. The implication at the end seemed to be that Bieber was the real criminal, and his brother was just a semi-willing participant. Unfortunately for Bieber, he's not a very good actor. Edward Furlong...

    "Shock Waves" Discussion **SPOILERS**

She's a dead ringer Claire Forlani, the girl who played the ME/Mac Taylor's squeeze in the early years of CSINY. All in all, a well written episode. LV does a much better job than the other two series in maintaining continuity, ala the references to Brown and Griss in this one.

CSI: Miami is moving to Sunday at 10PM!

It might have been the local game in your market. It started on time here. IIRC, I believe CBS will also have the late game on October 3. I can't imagine they would delay a season premiere for 40 minutes. But then again...:shifty:

    **Season Nine Spoiler Lab**

Thanks for that, funny. I haven't read Mad magazine since I was about 10. Maybe they could do a "Spy vs. Spy" CSI spoof.

    **Season Nine Spoiler Lab**

Funny how everyone's :guffaw: is :guffaw:'ing in unison. :) I threw that in at the last minute. But I can see it as a possible ending to a show: [after Calleigh has solved the case, Horatio joins her for a walk on the beach with her new SPCA adoptee] HORATIO: Excellent work today, Ms...
