During tonight's CSILV, there was a promo showing Horatio and Frank in different locations, but obviously within eyesight, shrugging their shoulder at each other, as if to say, "WTF?" That should be funny. CBS also has a 4-minute "retrospective" of recent events from the last season. As if...

The flashback episodes are always fun. Good chance to develop a character more deeply. And CSILV has a good history of giving their departing actors an appropriate sendoff. He was Trapper John in the original MASH. The only actor to be in both the TV series and the film was Gary Burghoff (Radar).

She's a dead ringer Claire Forlani, the girl who played the ME/Mac Taylor's squeeze in the early years of CSINY. All in all, a well written episode. LV does a much better job than the other two series in maintaining continuity, ala the references to Brown and Griss in this one.

It might have been the local game in your market. It started on time here. IIRC, I believe CBS will also have the late game on October 3. I can't imagine they would delay a season premiere for 40 minutes. But then again...:shifty:
