YEAH good point ollieuan! And Sara/Grissom IMO don´t have as much chemistry as Sara has with Nick, Warrick or Greg. The GSR "flirting" seems forced to me. In eps like The Hunger Artist they put all this romantic music in the Sara/Grissom scenes but there is nothing in their body-language...

I always thought writing and directing were important. As an actor you can modify your lines to a degree (if you have lenient co workers) but the directing and cutting is so important! The difference bw a good and a bad movie is in many cases a question of who directed it. Sure there are actors...

But the thing with Butterflied is Grissom gives his reasons NOT to be with Sara. So it´s a rejection in effect. In spite of his feelings Grissom says he could never risk it to be with Sara. It´s very cowardly of Grissom. To me that indicates he does not love her enough and does not deserve...
