Would you go to a CSI convention??

Hard to say if I'd go. I'm on the student loan/waitressing salary. Maybe next year if I get funding for grad school - that's what grants are for, right? Perhaps some CSI-inspired fieldwork...

    "Grave Danger" Discussion (Beware Spoilers)

Re: what nick said that was muted You know, I actually thought about that (as I'm sure many of you did) when the episode aired. If the storylines gave him (George Eads) nightmares, I wonder how he dealt with being in the box, if maybe some of that mania was real.

    "Grave Danger" Discussion (Beware Spoilers)

Re: what nick said that was muted This may be a little OT and probably shouldn't be discussed here but I found this link on my favorite websites (yep, I'm a snopes-phile, too!) and thought it might interest someone. http://www.snopes.com/horrors/gruesome/buried.htm If anybody is already...

    The Buffy Thread

Yeah, Angel was something different altogether. I also didn't like S7 of Buffy at all, while, as you said, season 4 of Angel was fantastic. How often does the spinoff surpass the original? Not very often! I also, as stated above, loved DB in a starring role much better than simply Buffy's...

The Yukon XL Denali Joins The Cast Of 'CSI'

So, does that mean it gets a space in the credits? Or just a "also starring" credit. *giggle*

    The Buffy Thread

So did I. Then I started to really not love it in season four (except for "Fear, Itself" "Hush," and "Restless," which ruled) Like Angel once said, "I like them both," be it 110% superficial Cordy or more humbled "Angel" Cordy. Nope. I'll agree with you on that one, too. Xander and Cordy...

Who Is Your Favorite Guest Star?

The actor's name is Pruitt Taylor Vince, I believe. I cracked up at every scene he had with Nick and Warrick. Opportunistic but funny. My personal favorite was Lady Heather (she just freakin' rocked the episodes she was in.) And I also have to allow a certain amount of drool for Chris Bezich...

    "Grave Danger" Discussion (Beware Spoilers)

Re: Post - "Grave Danger" Episode Discussion/Revie Is there a Bobby D thread I can pounce on? I looked for one but I'm still mastering the search option. :) *sniffle* They really are like a family, and even old Uncle Ecklie and creepy Cousin Hodges got to lend a hand. I still can't believe...

    Worst Movies Ever

My vote was for "Mac and Me," which was a none-too-subtle advertising scheme by McDonalds and Coke, masquerading as an ET ripoff. It was super-cheese. I saw it at a birthday party in fifth grade. Ugh. Spice World, eh? Damn, I thought I'd blocked that one.

Re: Post - "Grave Danger" Episode Discussion/Revie I agree with that Falc. I thought the secondary characters excelled in their roles, although I'd love to see more Bobby D. And Hodges saves the day. You just got promoted from not-quite-lecherous-enough-to-be-fired co-worker dude. Congrats!

Re: Post - "Grave Danger" Episode Discussion/Revie Years. Daily. Hourly. I'm still totally digging this ending. His forgiveness really touched me, reminded me why I love Nick so much as a character. He still hasn't lost those manners, and his general regard for other human beings, especially...

    "Grave Danger" Discussion (Beware Spoilers)

Re: Post - "Grave Danger" Episode Discussion/Revie I'm hoping for this outcome as well. They have to deal with it - it's too big an issue to just conveniently forget about. It's also interesting to see how people react to trauma experienced by those close to them. I mean, Nick pretty much...

Re: Post - "Grave Danger" Episode Discussion/Review ***Spoilers*** I (and I find a lot of other people too, just by reading these postings) were a little surprised that Grissom didn't show more emotion. Gris is the freakin' rock of the show. If he had burst into tears and broken down into a...

Re: Post - "Grave Danger" Episode Discussion/Review ***Spoilers*** You know, Hodges has grown on me, sort of like the mildew on my bathroom ceiling. This sealed the deal. He's alright. As for Ecklie, he was less smackable tonight. Much less smackable.
